Advice on buying a Dslr camera? - 1

I need an advice regarding which camera to buy? Canon 450D or Nikon D3100?
I need to know this in an photographic edge. I'll not be using video snapping at all. I need a good camera with good functionalities for still photography.

But just a good capable camera so I can explore and understand the whole camera and all the other advanced modes + combing creativity for better photographing.
One more question, which one of these two cameras has advanced features in the photography aspect? Which one of those two cameras has to offer more? Or which is the more advanced level camera(even though both are entry level cameras)?

The Canon 450D is no longer made. The closest to it would be the 1100D

I suggest you visit a proper camera shop and hold both the 1100D and D3100 in your hands. The ergonomics and ease of use of the menu of each camera will be the deciding factor.

Both cameras sensors perform well.

The Nikon D3100 is slightly better under low light conditions, producing the least noise of the two. I also included the 450D in the comparison

All dSLR's are basically the same. Entry-level models (like the two you are considering) are crippled in one way or another. If you want more satisfaction, get higher model than entry-level. If you want more bang for your buck, don't get from those two brands you mentioned.
