How to start modeling at age 15?

I'm 15 years old, 5 foot 6, and about 125 pounds. I have medium length blonde hair (hair ends at chest area) and fair skin and blue eyes.
I have always wanted to model, and I have a few questions before I talk to my parents.
How do I build a portfolio? Do I need professional pictures, or just good quality? (I have a Nikon d40 and a tripod, so I might use that)
How do I bring this up to my parents? What should I say to them?
What do you wear to an audition?
How do I do the "walk"?
Your answers are appreciated.

How to access the sensor on my Nikon D40 camera for cleaning?

I have a dark spot on my photos, which I'm assuming it's a piece of dust on my Nikon D40. I have the materials to clean it, but I'm having trouble accessing the sensor.
I see YouTube videos and online instructions, but I still can't manage to get the sensor screen exposed. I do the "mirror lock up" thing, and open it up, but I still only see the mirror inside. Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks so much!

Added (1). Unfortunately the closest place to where I live that does any camera repairs is nearly 2 hours away. I'm hoping to avoid mailing out my camera if possible.

I need a camera with a pc jack?

My father is a pro photographer, but he hasn't been in business for like 20 years. So he needs me to get him a camera with a pc jack. I wanted to get him the canon rebel t3i, but I don't think it has a pc jack. I don't want to spend over $1, 000 for a camera, and preferably not that close to $1, 000. Do any canon cameras have a pc jack? Which ones? I was also looking at the nikon D5100, but I dunno if it has a pc jack. Please recommend some good cameras for me. If I'm right and the t3i doesn't have a pc jack, then is there any other way to hook up a lighting system to it?
I'm grateful for any info you can give me.

Does anyone who is reading this?

Does anyone who is reading this know where I can get a Nikon D3100 DSLR for cheaper than this price? --> http://www.walmart.com/...o/15222286

I've been trying to get a a Nikon D3100 DSLR camera since I was 10 years old. That's when I became involved with Photography.

My birthday is September 10th, my mom is getting me a pair of Vans, and some other things I don't know about. And, last year for my Birthday my Grandma got me a Sony Cyber Shot camera, and I appreciate her gift So MUCH. But, it's not a very good camera to take Photography with. I mean, it takes me forever to get it to zoom on the camera, and it only zooms up too 4.1 MP. And, I would like to become more professional. But, a lot of people don't take me seriously when I have my Sony Cyber Shot.

I'm sorry, I'm going into a long story about this. But could someone tell me where I can get a Nikon D3100 DSLR for cheaper than the price in the picture above.^^

D3100 no longer working in continuous mode?

I've had my Nikon D3100 for over a year now. It's taken thousands of photos. It used to take 100+ at a time like i needed since i have a wired remote and can't keep running back and forth to the camera. I recently realized with and without the remote continuous mode is hardly working now. It will take a few shots. Then quit.take one or two more. Then stop again.i've reset my shooting options and everything. My manual didn't help at all.help please?

Added (1). Of course i always reformat my cards after everything downloaded to my computer. I reformat them with the camera. I had no idea it could be my cards though.i've never had this problem before

Buying a Nikon D5100?

I'm planning on buying a Nikon D5100, but I'm unsure as to whether or not I should buy the camera with the lens or if I should buy just the body of the camera and buy my own lens? This is my first DSLR, so all advice is appreciated!

Nikon Nikkor Lens Battle: 55-200mm vs 18-200mm vs 55-300mm vs 70-300mm?

I was wondering which of the 4 lens is worth getting. I'm an amateur taking up photography just as a hobby and I go hiking and gotten photos of beautiful animals. I just love the telephoto lenses and can't not carry one with me where ever I go.

I currently have the 70-300mm lens but am in a little debt that must be taken care of so I must part with it. I know the 70-300mm is one of the better of the lower end telephoto lenses and my options for other cheaper telephoto lenses are the 55-200, 18-200mm, 55-300 lenses, but I don't know which one is worth getting. Although I'm an amateur I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so taking up photography is about one of my favourite hobbies.

I was wondering if its worth downgrading lenses, if its not worth downgrading I'm gonna hold onto this lens. Also if it means anything I use a Nikon D3100 DSLR.

Thanks!

Added (1). I shoot nature shots with it sometimes, especially wildlife or any sort of animal that would be easily spooked.
