How much should I sell my Nikon D40 for?

I bought it about 3 years ago and never got as into photography as I'd planned on so now I want to sell it. It is in like-new condition and comes with its original AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm lens and Nikon software CD. However I have lost the original box with the manuals. I originally paid around $600 I believe but I know that it is probably worth much less now, so how much should I ask for it?

Added (1). It also comes with the lens cap, charger, etc. Pretty much everything that came along with it when I bought it, except for the box and manuals.

Added (2). @ selina_555: You didn't answer my question at all but thanks for restating my "it is probably worth much less now" in four steps.

Opinions on my photography please?

I'm a 17 year old girl that's been very interested in photography for a while (not to say i'm any good at it, its just a hobby of mine) I have a Nikon D60 that i borrow from college to take pictures with as i do photography at A-level. I've never been overly confident with anything I do but i'd just like to ask people what they think of my images so far, I haven't uploaded many images yet as i've only just made a flickr page for my pictures and i don't understand flickr much. Constructive criticism is appreciated but please don't be horrible, it would mean a lot to me if you could have a look at my page just search Stephanie Adele Photography on flickr and offer some support/advice/opinions on things and maybe point me in the right direction? Thank you all so much in advance

Added (1). Links never usually post fully that's why i didn't but it's- flickr.com/photos/stephanieadelephotogra…

Nikon D90, put it on manual but it still automatically sets settings

Okay, so i photographed at a friend's dance recital, and at one point, i switched my 18-200 lens for my 50 mm film camera's manual focus lens. I eventually switched it back to the 18-200, but ever since, every time i put the camera on manual, it keeps automatically changing the shutter and aperture for me. I have no idea what's going on with it! Please help!

Added (1). It is most definetly on autofocus and on manual. I double checked, i even tried taking out the lens and putting it in again. But its the same.

How to upload an iMovie to Youtube in 1080p?

I made a little clip with iMovie in 1080p (recorded it with a Nikon D5100) and I can't seem to upload it to Youtube with 1080p. I used the Share button iMovie has and clicked on Youtube and uploaded it from there but it uploaded it on 720p. Then I extracted the video and saved it to my computer and uploaded it from Youtube but it uploaded it 360p! So how am I supposed to upload it in 1080p?

What are some ways to make photography better?

I've read a lot of photography books and they all have advice to maximize your photo's appeal. Mostly they talk about the rule of thirds and editing it in Photoshop. HEY LOOK NOW I'M A PHOTOGRAPHER.

No, I'm thinking there's more to it than that… What are some ways you can make your photography more interesting? What kinds of edits do you do to your photos to make them look better(i.e.color correction, combine shots, filter effects, etc.)? Are there ways to find out what kind of niche you have in photography (macro, insects, animals, portraits, action, sports, etc.)?

I enjoy photography and have a Nikon D3000 for taking really good photographs, but I don't really know what to take pictures of, or how to take my every day stuff and make it interesting in a photo.

Also, what kind of things do you like to take pictures of, and how long, or how often do you go out to shoot? Do you have a favorite lens? At what distance do you usually take pictures from? Do you have a gallery (and if so can you link it)?

Also, if you do edit in photoshop, what are some quick ways that you can make a good picture to a great picture (something a little better than "Instagram")?
