Making the switch from Canon to Nikon?
I have decided I want to make the switch from Canon to Nikon. I don't really like my Canon Rebel T2i anymore. A HUGE thing that bugs me is the sound it makes when it takes the picture- it is so incredibly loud! Also, I don't know, I don't really like it that much in general anymore after using some of my friends Nikon cameras. I really enjoy the Nikon ones! I'm looking into the Nikon D5100.So, I was wondering where I should sell my camera and equipment (Canon Rebel T2i in excellent condition, a flash, kit lens, f/1.8 50mm lens). I want to get the most out of it with the least hassle possible. Thanks, have a great day!
Added (1). I mean that sound isn't the only thing I don't like! But I did compare the loudness of my current one to my friend's Nikon, and hers is much quieter. And I know it may sound silly, but a lot of my camera use is during a program or speaker or something, and people notice my camera sound. There are multiple other reasons, but as small of a reason it is, the sound would make a big difference. And how do I find the count of how many pictures I've taken?

Good Nikon Lens for Dental Use?
I want to get a Lens for my Nikon D80.
I'm going to use it for close up shots of the mouth / teeth.
I was thinking a Macro 60mm or 100mm.
Does anyone know what a Dentist would use?
Added (1). My budget is about $300 so the 105mm seems to be out in the $800 range.
I've found the 40mm for $200 and a 60mm for $279

Does the Nikon D7000 have a design flaw (backfocusing)? Or is it a good buy?
I'm considering buying a Nikon D7000 for wedding photography because its in my budget range of ($1200-1500) and I've read reviews thats its good for low light situations. What worries me is the reviews on AMazon show that there's a widespread focusing design flaw. For my budget should I get the D7000 or move over to something else? (Note I have a D3100 + 55-200mm lens + 35mm prime already… All Dx format)

How much could I get for this Nikon?
I still have the box and everything. I have 32 GB memory card and a Nikon dx lense. Barely used. I splurged buying it and realized I didn't need it. I was hoping to pawn it. I still have the user manual and everything like I said before. Even a really nice case that is worth about 40-60 dollars. It is a red nikon d3100. Again, BARELY used.
Please take note I'm a teen and I recently got my first job and saved many many paychecks to buy this only to realize I wouldn't use it as much as I thought. I no longer have the receipt. I purchased it from bestbuy.

Nikon D3100 settings for stadiums and football?
I have been using a Canon Rebel for about 3 years now and recently upgraded to a Nikon D3100, I was shooting in manual mode with an ISO of 1600 on the Canon, would these settings work for my Nikon as well? Or are should I adjust my settings to something else for the Nikon? All answers appreciated.
Added (1). They're flood lights and I go back and forth between the crowd and onto the field. And everything I know about photography, I have learned through experimentation, excuse me for not being an expert.

How to change the pixel size on a Nikon?
I have a Nikon D3100 and want to get the highest quality of picture I can out of it.
Any tips would be much appreciated!

Photographing my FIRST wedding? - 1
I have a Nikon D3100… What lens should i purchase for this special day?
Added (1). I was hired with the facts being known that i have NEVER shot a wedding before… Bride and groom were basically going to buy disposable cameras and have the guests take the photos.her cousin talked her out of it but they didn't have money in their budget for a photographer. I have the kit lens and a 55mm-300mm lens. So don't "pity the fool"… I'm just helping out so they don't end up with photos of the ground, ceiling, door, etc. This should be a lesson.don't judge someone before you know the facts. In fact, you didn't need to know the facts to answer a question about a lens.

Is there a cheap wireless remote that I can use on my Nikon D7000?
I can't afford the ml-3 that's like $200 bucks. Even the $150 one on amazon. Any opinions? Or experience with cheaper remotes?

Nikon 50mm f/1.8D Nikkor AF Lens vs 35mm f1.8 G Af-S DX?
Which one is "better"? I have a Nikon D5100 I know that the one can't autofocus but that really doesn't matter to me that much. But I do like all of the markings on it. Is it just down to a personal preference by now?
