How to change the pixel size on a Nikon?
I have a Nikon D3100 and want to get the highest quality of picture I can out of it.
Any tips would be much appreciated!
You can't change the size of the camera's pixels.
Shoot in NEF/RAW mode, if you don't want to spend time behind the computer for post processing (because raw file have not been retouched by the camera software like jpeg) then shoot in "jpeg fine".
Page 64-65-66 in your user manual.
For the highest resolution shoot in RAW
The number of pixels on a sensor is fixed, yours has a 14 mp sensor, you can't change that.
Look on pages 64, 65 and 66 of your user manual
Shoot in RAW mode.
