How much could I get for this Nikon?

I still have the box and everything. I have 32 GB memory card and a Nikon dx lense. Barely used. I splurged buying it and realized I didn't need it. I was hoping to pawn it. I still have the user manual and everything like I said before. Even a really nice case that is worth about 40-60 dollars. It is a red nikon d3100. Again, BARELY used.

Please take note I'm a teen and I recently got my first job and saved many many paychecks to buy this only to realize I wouldn't use it as much as I thought. I no longer have the receipt. I purchased it from bestbuy.

See what they're going for on ebay or Craigslist, but you won't get back what you paid for it.

You might be able to get 500 out of it. Possibly more.

You won't get $500 for that in a pawn shop, they will bleed you out and offer you $150.

D3100 + 18-55mm new $495.
D3100 + 18-55 refurbished $399.
32gb memory (cheapest one out there; Class 4 cost around $18, class 10 cost around $22).
Your case is worth $40-60

Your best bet is to put this on craigslist and since you got all the warrenty (I presume you have them) you might be able to get $450-$550 "if" you're lucky.

With any luck, you might get $350-$400 for it.

1) Without the receipt, the person who buys it won't be able to get warranty service if needed
2) A used camera is still used. You MIGHT be able to get 85% of what you paid since the new models have been released,
3) Red will be hard to sell, it is mainly popular with kids
4) As mentioned, a pawn shop will rip you off. Sell it for CASH ONLY (no checks or money orders) on craigslist OR take everything into your local camera shop and see what they will pay for it.
