I'm a teenager and I want to start getting into photography. It's not my career choice but it intrigues me and I want to learn about professional cameras. I've had an ordinary Nikon camera before (touch screen) with all the basic controls but I was looking for a professional camera within the price range of 200-300 pounds, so obviously nothing too expensive but good quality, takes good pictures etc. Please don't say I'm too young to have a camera like this, I'm not ready for a professional camera etc. Because I'm interested in it and it's a good way to learn as I've had some experience with cameras previously. Any suggestions of models or brands would be useful, thank you. Oh and if you could also recommend online lessons as there are no courses where I live or close to 'me anyway, thank you so much in advance:-) best answer wins 10 points.

My Nikon cool-pix camera won't turn on?
My Nikon cool-pix s6150 won't turn on?
I got it a month ago on my birthday and it worked great with my new memory card, I had no problem with it. I didn't use it for a week and when I went to use it again it wouldn't turn on, the first thing I did was try charge it but it wouldn't charge? And the light wasn't coming on. So then I checked if the battery was in the right way and it was. But it won't turn on and I don't know what to do.
I'm 13 and I don't know anything about cameras this is my first one please help me thanks.
Which Nikon camera is great for beginners/starters?
I recently bought a Canon T3, but many photographers that I know have Nikon and their photos come out way better even before the editing stuff. I'm going to take a photography course this coming fall and I would really like to save up for a Nikon, but I do not know which would be a great one for me since I would barely be a beginner, although I can learn fast and pick up quick, I would also like for it to be as of good use. In other words I do not want to get a simple, simple one but one that would also benefit me for when I get the hang of photography.
Could someone please be so kind and give me feedback. Please and Thank-you!
What kind of film should I use to get this look?
I just found a Nikon N60 at my parents house and took it to start using it to get more into film photography. Over the past 2 years or so, I've been doing digital photography, but I just love the look of film and want to get back to that. I don't really know anything about film photography other than the pictures I used to take growing up with the film I bought from the grocery store. A friend has a Canon FP and I love the pictures he gets. I know that is a much more vintage camera than the Nikon N60, but will I able to get that same look with film? To get pictures like these
Good canon lens for outdoor sports? Rebel t1i?
Alright, this year I'm going to have to take a lot more sports photos for my yearbook. This past year our previous photo editor took most of the outdoor sports and I helped with indoor like basketball since i have an 85mm f/1.8. He graduated and now I'm going to be responsible for a lot of the outdoor sports photos as well and therefore I need a new lens to do so.
My yearbook adviser is a photographer too and buys gear, but it's all nikon --- I can use his cameras and lenses, but it's annoying to keep switching back and forth. ANYWAY, I was looking at the 70-200mm f/4L USM or the 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM. It's going to be a birthday present and I don't want to ask for anything TOO expensive… But if a lot of money must be spent then so be it.
So would either of these lenses be ok? Which should I pick over the other? And Any other suggestions/recommendations?
Oh and if you're thinking "For a high school yearbook?" (it's actually a pretty big thing lol) I also enjoy photography as a hobby, and for better results I'm going to need new gear now and then.

What did the nikon 1 cost in 1948? Not the value now, but what it actually cost back then?
What did the nikon 1 cost in 1948? Not the value now, but what it actually cost back then?
Well i'm looking into buying a camera soon and have narrowed it down to two.
Nikon D1300 or Canon EOS 1100D. Any opinions on which one is better to buy? Or any other suggestions? I can't spend too much and want something that isn't massively complicated to use.
