Time interval for timelapse Photography?

I'm doing a star night sky time lapse for about 12 hours. I will be using a Nikon dslr by taking a series of photos and combining them into a video file. So which one is better? A photo in every 1 minute or 5 min?

Need a new camera - traveling to Africa?

I'm looking to purchase a new camera.

I already have a nikon cool pics camera, and i do love it, but I think I'm in need of something more for my trip to Africa. I'm looking to stay under $250.00 - Can you please suggest any?

Also remember I take a lot of shots at a race track, so I need something that is good for night pics and great zoom. If anyone can give me some suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Pros/Cons are welcome.

Hey guys i need help i got some questions!
ok i was looking for a new camera because i'm going for a holiday in like 4 weeks so i'm looking for a camera that is good for example the nikon d5200, its good in video its 22-24mp and the zoom i want is 18-105 which is pretty much what i need? Any better cameras even if its canon? Please and you guys can link me to a website or store who sells them?

Is Nikon D5200 worth the money?

I want to learn photography and Nikon D5200 attracts me. However, because I'm new to DSLRs, I do not know if this model is good.

Why won't my Camera photos upload to the computer?

I have a Nikon Camera.
Before today It would upload the photos to the computer with a plug in about 5 seconds.
But for some reason I plugged it in today and it won't let me upload any, It says "USB Device not recognized". And I've re plugged it whole lot, it still won't work.

Any suggestions?

Good Nikon Camera That Can Film In HD?

I'm looking for a Nikon camera that can film in 1080p HD and it has to have the option to manually focus, preferably a focus ring but that's not that not much of a big deal. Any ideas?

Outdoor Group Photography for Family Reunion

I have done quite a few photo shoots but nothing like this! I'm shooting a family reunion for 200+ people! Insane! I will probably be using a Nikon 12-24 f/4… And will probably bring a ladder… I have an sb-600 flash but was wondering if other lighting is suggested? The reunion will be outside in a field… Tips for lighting everyone?

Would a nikon 18-55 lense be enough for a team photo shoot?

I'm doing my first photo shoot. I've been doing senior portraits and family portraits for over a year and have no problem there but I was approached to do a team shoot and there's good money in that so i'm giving it a try. My only question is should I rent a wider lense or just stick with my 18-55 lense because there are only 12 girls on the team… And maybe 2-3 coaches that doesn't make for a very large group. If you think my kit lense is not enough can you please recommend one that might do it? I can rent alot of different lenses from my local camera shop.

Lightroom issue in importing raw files?
