Sigma 85mm 1.4 vs Nikon 85mm 1.8?

Lookin to get an 85mm. I really want the Sigma for the larger aperture but don't wanna spend all that extra cash if there's not much difference. Can anyone with experience with these two lenses tell me the pros and cons of each?

What's wrong with my nikon 5100 battery?

For the past day or so I've plugged my battery into the wall charger and the light would show up blinking red. I don't remember if when it charged correctly if it flashed green or red. Last night I left it in to charge all night and I put it back into my camera this morning and it said that the battery died. In the manual it says nothing about a dead battery so I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea what is wrong and where I can get my hands on a new battery.

Is nikon D5200 enough for making feature films?

I would like to make a feature film with nikon d5200 1080p after watching the mark iii and d5200 comparision on eoshd.
Previously many feature films made by canon 5d mark ii. Now I would like to do the same with d5200.
But is d5200 1080p really enough to make feature films?
What is the screen resolution in indian cinema theaters? And in IMAX?
I would like to release the movie in theaters in india which are using ufo/cube technology.
If d5200 does not support for thetrical release, let me know which one I should use?
My budget is definetly not with RED cameras.

Point-and-shoot cameras with LARGE sensors?

Travelling this summer, can't bring 20 lbs of DSLR equipment with me. What relatively slim point-and-shoot cameras have large sensors? E. G., the Canon G1X?

I'm debating between a small interchangeable-lens camera (i.e. NIkon J1, Pentax Q), and a high-quality point-and-shoot. I really can't decide, but I'd like to know what my options are.

Samsung wb100 Digital Camera?

I'm looking into buying this camera. After searching for an affordable camera under 200 dollars, this is by far the best I have found. I was originally looking for a Canon or Nikon but when I read the reviews for this one, I feel pretty set on it.

Does anyone have any positive or negative things to mention about this product before I make the buy?

Can't decide between these cameras. NIKON vs CANON?

Here are the three cameras I'm interested in:
#1 - http://www.target.com/...-14515539#

#2 - http://www.target.com/...edium_1_39

#3 - http://www.target.com/...edium_1_47

I like #1 because it seems to be a great camera AND it comes in a bundle including a case and memory card (the camera is $169.99 alone). But I have never used Nikon & I'm worried that picture quality will not measure up to the Canon brand.

And I just do not know how I would decide between #2 & #3. They are both the ELF models of the Canon but #3 is "ELF 130" and #2 "ELF 115 HS".So #3 is the newer model?
And how much better is choice #3? (Assuming it is better by the $10 increase in price).
I do know that camera comes with Wi-Fi… But is that the only major difference?

Please help me pick and let me know any helpful info I should know when choosing a good point & shoot camera. Any links or personal use of these cameras will also be helpful for comparison.

Thanks! ♥
will chose best answer(:

Added (1). I do know that a dslr camera will of course beat my choices, but I'm looking for a point and shoot to carry around for pictures with friends and everyday things; I already have access to a dslr camera. My original price point was around $150, so if anyone wanted to give other recommendations please keep this info in mind.

I have a nikon camera but I feel weird carrying it around everywhere?

Hi! So I got a Full Nikon camera with zoom lens and everything. I really like talking pictures and i admit i'm not the best photographer. I really wanna get good and be known for like having my camera and talking good photos but I always feel kinda weird with it and taking pictures. Is it weird to be carrying it around everywhere and not having good photos? Also any tips on taking pictures would be awesome!
