Nikon D7000 and wild life shooting - how's the performance?
If someone had experience with shooting birds, wildlife and so on - where speed is important - or sports or any kind of action with the D7000 - since i have expeirence only with D80 i would like to see if D7000 together with exampe 70-300 VR does better shooting on birds and action - because this was the reason of me considering D300 - now when D7000 came out and as everyone says its better - i always have the question - what about wild life shootin'? Cause D300 still has 51 pts and very good sharp performance on any kind of moving bird or whatever - or this already is up to the lens

Will the price of the Nikon D7000 come down soon with newer generation cameras coming out?
Should I stop waiting for the price of the Nikon D7000 to come down? I've seen that Nikon will be offering the Nikon D800 for retail sale soon. Does that mean there will also be a Nikon D8000 available soon, and will the availability of any newer generation Nikon cause the D7000 to be reduced in price?

Tips for shooting large photos with Nikon D3000?
I have a Nikon D300 and I want to take a few photos of my friends to frame and put up on the wall. The size would probably be 24"x36". I wouldn't want for the images to be pixelated for trying to print them so big.

HDEW Cameras, what's your opinion?
Don't bother answering this if all your wanna do is ***.
I've found several very good reviews regarding their service but am nevertheless sceptical about entering into business with them. I'm after a Nikon D700 + 70-200mm VRII which, from them, I can get for £3075 - far less than anywhere else.
I understand it's "grey imports" they sell. But can anyone offer me some insight into what this means exactly? I understand they're imports from the US, as apposed to China I guess?
Thanks in advance for any helpful input.
"OMGZ DNT DO IT" isn't helpful, so if thats all you have to say, there's really no need.
Added (1). Fhotoace - HDEW offer a 3 Year warranty with these more expensive purchases & apparently you can have repairs carried out ANYWHERE that offers a repair service, provided HDEW agree on the price/quote given by the repairer.

Where can I buy film for my Nikon D3?
Its said to have a 35mm film sensor. The nice salesman said it would take professional photos.

This is satire, not trolling.
Go along with it like the others.

Will a AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm lens work on a Nikon D2h?
I have a Nikon D3100 with a af-s dx18-55mm Nikkor lens as a kit lens and I want to buy a Nikon D2h with no lens but not sure if it the nikkor 18-55mm lens will work on the D2h. Will it? And if not witch lenses and fisheye lenses will work.

Is a Shutter count of 30, 371 too much on a Nikon D300?
I'm interested in buying this camera but i'm not sure what to look for wen buying used.

What would be the best Nikon DSLR for me?
My poor old Nikon D40 has just died with the press shutter button error and have been thinking about replacing it for a while now anyway, but I'm torn between what would be the best mid-range Nikon DSLR to go for.
As far as I can see it's between the D90, D5100 or the D7000 - from what I can tell the D300s is a slightly more expensive, older and not quite so good version of the D7000 so will leave that out.
I really liked the D90 when it came out and now really like the D7000, but also heard some good things about the D5100 - but not sure if it's quite so good.
I have collected a few Nikkor lenses over the years, including the kit 18-55mm (non-VR), a 55-200mm VR and the good old 50mm 1.8 - although the 50mm is AF and therefore doesn't focus on the D40 I really like this lens and all these bodies (I think) auto-focus the 50mm, correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not too bothered about video, so it's not too much of an issue and my budget's probably around up to £1000, give or take a bit. I suppose my main genres of photography are landscape, in-door, portrait and cities.
