Canon 550D to exchange with Nikon D300?

My friend has a Nikon D300 with firmware version 1.01 with 7000 shutter count. His setup includes

Tamron SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II
Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 AF-D
D300 Body…

My Setup is
Canon 550D with 18-55 Kit lens…
Metz 50 AF-1 Dedicated Flash

Do you think that its a good idea to exchange my setup with him? If yes how much money is a good deal for it? Or you suggest me to buy new lens and go with my own setup? Thanks

Added (1). Yes i'm sure for the shutter count. Because i know that machine since he bought. He was using this machine always on P mode and automatic.

Added (2). For 700$ paying extra over my setup

Upgrade from 60D To 5D mk3 OR D800?

So, I'm getting a new DSLR soon, So I thought I should go for full frame, now these two are great Cameras
I searched for reviews and stuff, but the problem is that some say canon is great and low noise and some say that nikon is better. So I'm really confused.
I'm ok to move from canon to nikon if I have to.
So which one get more details? Colours? And lower noise?
i.e more powerfull
I'll use it in travel/landscapes/macro
Video isn't a problem, I'll use the 60D with 50mm lens
So what do you think?

Best entry level dslr/slr for my price-range?

I'm looking to purchase an entry-level SLR/DSLR (not that I know the difference) for around 500-600 dollars. Preferably lower, but I've found that most of the good cameras are around that area. I want to be able to take extremely good quality photos and a nice zoom and focus and such. I've considered the Canon T3i (too expensive) and the T2i. I've also considered the Nikon D300. What would you recommend?

What lens should I sell along with my D90?

So I want to sell some gear so that I could upgrade to a D800… What should I sell/keep and for how much?

1. I've got a D90 which I've got since 2008 and it is still in pretty good condition, everything works just fine though just a tiny bit scratched. Along with the battery grip (Perfect condition).
2. Nikkor 18-105mm kit lens. In a pretty beat condition on the outside, paint coming off a bit, but works perfectly.
3. Nikkor 70-300mm 4.5-5.6. Perfect condition.
4. Nikkor 20mm 2.8. Perfect condition.
5. Tamron 90mm 2.8. Perfect condition.

Best Nikon for Wedding Photography?

I have been doing photography for about 5 years now and currently own a Nikon d90. I sort of "accidentally" grew a business that it making me quite a bit of money, but now I'm getting asked to do many weddings. I have done about 15 just this year so far (paid at $150 per hour). I'm wanting to upgrade all of my equipment, so I want to ask what dslr would you recommend for wedding photography? I would like to get it in the upcoming month before any of my other weddings and am thinking of the Nikon d3. Price is not a problem… So throw out whatever you would recommend!

Thanks.

Added (1). I have a 55-200mm VR & sb600 flash as well! Some other lenses, but nothing fancy.

Oil Spills with Nikon D7000? Is that recoverable?

Ok I decided to get Nikon D7000 and will do it soon, but lately saw some forum posts about oil spills issue - or not working good on a winter cold day - do other cameras have same problems and is it recoverable? As I read specs D7000 has self-cleaning system - has anyone experienced of using it and does it help for the oil spills? I'm not worried for hot pixels as I heard lot of dslr cameras have them - but oil spills - can it do damage on the lens as well?

I haven't heard similar things about D300s so I'm still wondering for which camera to go - it seems more stable in this aspect - or it also has issue problems?

Added (1). AW - the oil spills come from inside the camera while shooting not from outside - do more competent answers please
