Good, affordable lenses for Nikon d800?

I just bought the Nikon d800 and I'm going to be using it for music videos mostly. What is the best lense under 100 GBP. I mostly care about the video quality and not that much about the zooming.

Which lens should I use to shoot my first wedding?

I have a Nikon d300 and am shooting my first wedding on Sunday. I have an 18-55 mm lens and a 18-135 mm lens. I'm much more comfortable with the 135 but have read that the 55 will produce better images for the wedding. I will bring them both but which should I plan on using more and what should I definitely plan on using each for? Any any other tips for shooting a wedding? I have already compiled a shot list with the bride and think I know what to expect but would like to be as prepared as possible.

Best/Cheap Lens for Nikon D800?

I'm going over my budget to get a Nikon D800 and it doesn't come with a lens either. I need a cheap lens for Senior Photos and wedding photos on the dance floor which means lower lighting on the dance floor. Also if know of any cheap monitors I can use for the camera that'd help out a lot.

Debating switching over from nikon to canon. Thoughts?

So long story short, I've been a nikon user 100% for two main reasons: Nikon is cheaper than canon, and two, I started off with all nikon lenses, so I stayed nikon.

However, I'm currently getting into videography as well as some cinematography, and recently had the opportunity to film a wedding using the canon 70D and I was amazed at the way the camera worked. This being said, I have been saving up for a while now in order to buy a new better nikon DSLR, such as the d800, or now even the d810 due to it's video features and that I have all nikon glass. But since recently using the 70D, I've been debating switching to canon for it's video features which most say beat nikon, and buying a 70D would certainly save me some money which I could use to buy canon glass.

I'd like anyone's thoughts on this as well as advice on both makers/cameras.

Is there a notch on the Nikon D800 battery grip connector?

About 2 pins from the start, which is on the side towards the middle of the camera, and the notch is about 4 pins wide? It would also be on the D800E.

Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 too heavy?

I'm upgrading from a nikon d300 to a d610 and I'm torn about buying it with the kit lens or buying body only and buying the 24-70 2.8. Obviously the 24-70 is the better performing lens, but I'll be travelling to the uk for the first time and I'm just worried the lens would be too heavy to cart around all day. Also, my hands aren't the steadiest and the 24-85 does have vr (for static subjects)

My only fx lens at the moment is the 50mm 1.8 and that isn't a good travel lens as it's not wide enough

Any thoughts?

Nikon D700 - transferring photos to computer file?

I have no card reader or USB (on vacation)… Is there a way to transfer using Bluetooth or a trick I never thought of? I'd hate to have to go buy a USB when I have one at home…
