Photography: Resizing Images?

I'm a photographer, and I shoot with a Nikon D800. I use Lightroom 4 and I put all of my clients images on a disc for them. I don't know anything about resizing images before I put them on a disc, or what I should resize them to. I've had several clients tell me the images looked fine on their computer, but were blurry when they went to print them out. I've told All my clients to go to www.mpix.com but some refused and went about their business and printed them out at Walmart, CVS, etc. After I explained to them about how places like that can mess with the quality of the photo. Anyway, my question is, what should the image sizes be when you put them on a disc, and also when you put them on Facebook?

Nikon D800 problems?

Hi! So I worked for a photography company for a year just doing bits of photography here and there on a d800. I have since left and purchased my own.
I have not a clue what I'm doing with it but I'm not sure if the lens is broken? I purchased a nikorr 28-70 and it won't auto focus, not manually focus. I don't have a memory card yet as I'm still waiting for it to arrive so can't actually take pictures but I just wanted to mess about with it until then.
What could the problem be?
Also how do I switch the the screen for video mode? Because I flicked the switch and nothing happened!
Thanks

Added (1). - when I say won't focus… It does but not very well it's still really blurry!

Nikkor 50mm f1.2 AI-S vs Nippon 50mm f1.4 Non-Ai. Serious Lens Knowledge Required?

Hopefully someone on here will have enough lens knowledge and experience to answer my question,

I have been looking high and low across the web looking for a comparison between the Nippon 50mm f1.4 Non Ai lens from Nikon and the Nikkor 50mm f1.2 AI-S also from Nikon but can't find such a comparison anywhere. I own the 1.4 which was made in 1969 or so but still has decent optics but I'm thinking of buying a secondhand 1.2 which is 1979 lens I believe but is still in production for about £300 for it's marginally better wide open performance and extra half stop of aperture but I would really like to know if anyone has experience with both these lenses and how large the difference in performance is between them, if anyone has experience with the 55mm f1.2 also that would be great because it's a slightly cheaper alternative to the 50mm. I use a D800 by the way and I'm aware of the inconveniences of manual lenses as they make up the majority of my lens base, I want to use the 1.2 for video use due to the poor low light quality of the d800 which is caused by it's ridiculous 36mp and an ultra wide aperture which has a decent sharpness I hope can help me.

Added (1). "serious lens knowledge required?!" in the title isn't a question it's a statement haha I can't correct it to two exclamation marks.

I'm torn between the D610 and Nikon DF?

I heard the DF was the best in low light due to having a D4 sensor. I love the small size too. I take astrophotography and in your opinion is the noise difference that dramatic in the D610. I can buy a D610 now or save up for a DF. On sheet the D610 is a no brainer but it doesn't seem that way. Yes you're paying a price for the looks but I feel it's much more than that. Plus you can use vintage Nikon Lenses.

I would defiantly go for the DF if the mega pixels were just a little higher. I crop my astrophotography a lot.

I shoot day photography also street photography, wildlife and landscape.

Camera settings for newborn photo shoot?

What camera settings do you recommend for photographing newborns indoors with natural available window light?
I'm thinking ISO 400-600, F1.4-2.8, 1/125 sec?
Spot metering or dynamic metering and why?
Single focus or continous focus?

* With newborns, I find myself placing the focal point on the eye closest to the camera and then while keeping the shutter pressed half way down recomposing the shot with rule of 1/3rd and pressing shutter completely to take the shot. In order to do this technique must I shoot in single focus area mode? If I were to use this technique in continuous focus area mode would I loose the sharp focus obtained from the eye when I recompose because the camera would then focus on the new focus point I recomposed the camera too?
Thanks for your help and suggestions
**I shoot with a Nikon D300
