Nikon SLR Cameras

Give me your advice, opinions, and any other constructive criticism on my photos, please?

I know that the quality isn't topnotch. I don't have the best camera. I just want to know if I should invest in a better camera (Nikon D60), or if I should continue practicing my angles, ideas.etc on my Canon PowerShot A590. Any honest contribution will help tremendously.
Thank you.

Added (1). With all do respect, sir. I've looked through my photostream a hundred times and I do not see many similarities between the photos I have posted. Yes, they may be of the same object- such as a leaves and buildings, but I take a great amount of effort to make my photos look interesting. I take photos at different angles, with different lighting at different times of the day. I make my photos look unique. Tell me, how many times have you seen a landscape? I'm sure plenty. Now, how many times have you seen an ant- crawling from one lily petal to another? I'm sure that's a less common occurance. It makes me question whether or not you actually looked through my photos. Now, if you are just going to type advice without taking in account my art- then how am I supposed to learn from any of your suggestions? I may be a teenager, yes but that does not mean I'm just going through a "phase". My subjects aren't boring. They all tell a story, once you step back and look at the big picture.

It isn't about the equipment you use, but how you use it…

it is the subject matter that lets you down… If you get a D60 and STILL take pics of the same type, they still won't be any good…

if you can't use your A590 properly, what makes you think you could use the D60 any better?

learn the basics, and stop doing the usual teen fare…

Your pics are okay. Some are better than others.
i liked this one:
but i really think that it would have been much better in color.
if you had left it in color and played with the levels i feel that it could have been much better.

also some of the pictures are really blurry and i don't think those ones should be included in your flickr.

check out my flickr:

in certain pictures like 056 and Coffin Fly i played with the levels and i think that's what really made them stand out.

I looked at your shots. I'd like to give you an honest opinion, but your reaction to an earlier answer has discouraged me somewhat. Let's just say there's nothing I could possibly teach you.

Very honestly, your photos are average and it is apparent that you do not want to hear that… But 'Pictures don't lie'!
