How to take photos on my Nikon d3000 look vintage?

I don't mean editing them on photoshop, I mean what settings and adjustments can I use on my camera to make a picture look old or vintage? I've been playing around with shutter speeds, aperatures, ect and I can't get the desired effect. Any tips? Here are some examples of the types of photos i'd like to take:

Nikon D60 Battery problem?

My Nikon D60 is acting weird. When i put in the battery, even when its off, the memory card indicator lamp (light) is blinking. When i turn it on, the clock is reset, i reset it again and put the correct dates and time but after a few seconds its resets automatically again. Then the battery drains so fast. Is this a battery issue or there's something wrong with my camera?

Thanks

Added (1). A friend of mine has the same camera model and i tried his battery. It worked fine but after a few minutes it also does the same: clock resets and the memory indicator light flashes when its off. I think the battery is not the problem now. But the thing is i can still use it to take pictures. It just resets the date every couple of minutes and when i turn it off the light indicator flashes.answers are greatly appreciated.

How to connect my Nikon D3100 to my computer? - 1

I must be missing something, because I found the USB port but I'm not sure how to connect it to my computer (I use a MacBook, by the way).Is there a cord or something I didn't see, do I have to buy a connector cord, or can I just use a cord from another camera (not Nikon)?

Can you charge your Nikon D3000 in the computer, or do you need the charger?

I can't find my charger, and I was wondering if you could just charge it with the USB used for uploading pictures.

NIKON D3000, D3100, or D5000?

I'm looking for my first SLR camera, but I want to invest in a good one.
I'm not sure weather to go with the D3000, 3100, or 5000?
Does anybody know anything about these camers? Or the benefits and drawbacks?

Non dslr camera with highest image quality?

I'm still trying to pick out my next camera. I was leaning towards a DSLR, Nikon D3100 specifically, but after using one for a few hours I realized that I feel extremely limited by the lack of zoom without a telephoto lens. Even if I were to invest in one, I think that always having to change lenses would annoy me and take away spontaneous photo ops in nature.
Perhaps I'm asking for something impossible, but do any of the following exist?
1.a dslr camera with incorporated telephoto capacity
OR
2.a non dslr camera with superior image quality, large sensor, powerful zoom, macro capacity?
I mostly shoot nature and landscapes, and also do some sports photography.

Bottom line, I would like some creative control (not point and shoot) but excellent image quality. But without having to change lenses. Is there the best of both worlds?
I would appreciate advice or sharing of your experiences!
Thank you
