Which Sigma lens do I have?

I'm currently using my grandfather's Nikon FM2.

It has a lens on it that I just can't figure out exactly what it is, what model and such, and it's driving my crazy, haha. I'm very, very new to the world of SLR cameras, and using separate lenses for cameras and all that, so I'm trying to learn as much as possible.

It says "Sigma Zoom, 1: 3.5 - 4.5 f = 28-80mm Multi-coated" and it's 62mm. My father also told me it's a telephoto lens, not sure if that's right or not.

I'm pretty sure this is a very old lens, and that's why I can't find anything about it.

Oh, and also, it is a Nikon fit, so could it work on a Nikon D70?

Making stopmotions on NikonD3000?

SO I'm trying to make a stopmotion, and I know that the Canon Rebel xsi has a setting that you just press the button once and it keeps taking pictures until you press it again. It's like continuous, except you don't have to hold the button down. Does the Nikon D3000 have this setting, too? And if so how do I use it?

Added (1). Okay I know what continuous is, but that won't even work. Like I hold it down and it still only takes one picture, but I want something where I can just press it once and go in front of the camera and it will keep taking multiple pictures.

How to set my Nikon D3000 to take decent cheerleading pictures that will not be blurry?

I was told if I put my camera on Apiture priority and then 800 ISO It would produce great cheer leading pictures as my daughter has 2 big comps and I really would love to have nice pictures. Any advice on how to set my camera to apiture priority. I can't figure it out.
Thank you

Added (1). I just got this so I'm not trying to sound dumb. BUT I know what the big A stands for. It's the numbers I know nothing about.

Will this lens fit on a nikon d40?

It's an AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED lens. I found it for sale online, but I'm new to the whole SLR thing and not very confident about making decisions!

Wide angle lens/macro/fisheye for Nikon? Explanation please?

I'm new to DSLRs, and I have a D5000 which I would like to use for very wide shots. Not sure if I'm describing the correct thing, but basically I want to mimic shots that are very close to people, for instance, where distance, as well as the entire photo, is exaggerated.

I hear lots of mixed terms, such as macro and wide angle, so I want to make sure I'm talking about the correct thing before I buy something.

I also see lots of wide angle adapters and fisheye filters and what not… I'd just like some clarification please as to what does what… And if anyone could tell me what exactly I'm looking for to get the shots I was describing above, that would be great, whether it's something you screw on the end of an existing lens, or completely different lens you mount… Not so sure about anything really. Thanks!

P.S. I have an 18-55mm kit lens with 52mm threads, if it matters at all. I always choose a best answer, and here I would really appreciate some input… Thanks a lot in advance!
