How trust worthy is Amazon.com?
I wanted to buy a used slr camera, a Nikon d40, from Amazon and was wondering how trust worthy the used products were.

So almost about a year ago, I purchased a D3000.To be exact, the date was March 13, 2010.So recently, I've discovered that my flash lags every now and then, every time I take photos. Is this a technical problem, or is it my fault? I have the extended year warranty for it, so is it okay for me to return it to get a new one?

I have a nikon D3000 and i want to take pictures of fast moving objects, i have the camera on manual mode and have the shutter speed up around 100, i tried changing the aperture but it only let me go down to 3.5 but every picture comes out black!
i need fast help because i need to take these pictures by tomorrow
Added (1). I'm just using the lens it came with… I'm trying to shoot water falling, the lighting is quite bright.
and whoever the second answer was from, i'm sorry i know 'nothing' about the camera but i'm only 16 and this is for my class so i'm still learning actually
Added (2). Thanks for your help, i know what to do for next time, i've added more lighting and reduced the shutter speed a bit to 1/60 and it has worked better, i will keep these tips in mind for my next shoot
ps, havnt had time to look through all the manual yet because i have other work to do

Using a Rokinon 500mm f/8 Mirror lens with my Nikon D3000
So for Christmas my mom bought a new lens for my Nikon D3000. I had asked for a fisheye but she saw something about how this has a fisheye setting, which it doesn't but I don't think she knew that. Anyways, when it came in an instruction manual was not included. I have no clue how to use it with my camera. I've put in on, but everything is blurry and when i focus it doesn't take good pictures at all. Does anyone know a place online I can read on to see if I can get some good pictures out of this?

Should I save up to buy the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 or buy 50mm f/1.8 lens?
At the moment I don't exactly have the money to buy the 50mm 1.4 AF-S… Do you think I should save up, or just buy the 50mm 1.8? I'm just really really eager for a new lens to take some good portraits! Or 35mm 1.8 is another option. Which would be the best to use on my Nikon D5000?
Added (1). So is manual focusing for the 1.8 not like manual focusing on for example, an 18-55mm lens?
