Rules I need to know on street photography?

I want to try street photography, I just want to know if there's a rule that I need to know And I want to get some tips. I live in Ontario, canada. I have nikon d5100 with the kit lens.

What should I choose between Nikon D3100 and Canon 1100d?

Who tried both of them? Or tried Nikon or Canon. Can you see the difference? What is it?

I'm a beginner photographer with a Nikon D5100, will these lens be compatible with my camera? I'm interested in portraits, what lens performs better with producing bokeh, sharpness, etc? Also, what one is cheaper? For more advanced photographers, what one do you recommend that I buy?

Tips on photographing a christening?

I have been ask to take photos of a christening but I honestly don't know much at all about photography and I don't wanna muck this up, I have a nikon D3200 and want to train to be a photography, the parents know I don't know much at all yet and their still giving me the chance to do it, I can take some good shoots sometimes but it's tomorrow, please help

I have no experience in filmmaking at all. I own a nikon D3100 and only know one person interested in it as well (but he doesn't like working with other people so technically nobody).

I have a Nikon D5100 with 18-55mm kit lense n i'm planning to upgrade to SIGMA 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM, is that lense compatible with my camera? As NIKON D5100 DOES NOT HAVE A FOCUS MOTOR BUILT IN!
I'm new to photography so i do not understand d terms like OS n HSM

Will a Raynox mx3000 fisheye lens work on my nikon d3100?

I know the 18-55mm kit lens is for filters but I have a cheap.45x wide angle and it works just fine, I've tried looking it up on google to see if anyone has put a raynox on their nikon, and no results. Has anyone tried it? Some people say that it won't focus but I think otherwise. Please someone help! One of my friends had it on his vx2100 camcorder and the look of the picture was awesome, thanks guys.

When trying to upgrade my D5100 with latest Firmware - could not get camera to recognise firmware.

Simple answer was, the downloaded file did not show BIN file. Once you have downloaded the file and clicked run, make sure BIN is showing at end of doc, if BIN is not showing, you need to open with word document.

Will I benefit from making the transition to full frame DSLR Camera?

I first has a Nikon D70… Then a D60 and now a D5100. I have 4 DX lenses. I really like the 5100 and what can be achieved within the price and I also produce small films of which 2 have been shown at film festivals.

I'm considering jumping up to a Nikon D600 into the world of full frame. I choose the d600 because of weight as much of what I do is outdoors.

The question is, nowadays with DX being so good will I relaly see the benefit of jumping to FX format or will I resent spending the extra? Maybe someone has done the same as me and can give their opinion?
