Nikon d5100 dslr or nikon d3200 slr?

I'm new to the photography. I don't want to be photographer… I just want dslr to taking picture of family and family function. So guys pease suggest me which camera to buy?

Since you're just starting I'm assuming you have no experience with a dslr camera. So, you should pick the
most simple and least expensive to first figure out how serious you are. That means if in six months you decide you don't really care for a dslr you won't be losing much… Make sense?

I personally use the D5100… It's simple to use, delivers great results and doesn't cost a lot…

Find a dealer and HANDLE all the alternatives, not just Nikon.

Nikon make good DSLRs, but so do Canon and Pentax, while many see Sony's SLTs (with their superior video performance) as a viable alternative.

The best camera is the one that feels right in your hands - whoever makes it - and whichever you buy, you'll still need time and hard work to learn how to get the best out of it.
