How to get NO BLUR for no-flash pictures with a DSLR (specifically a Nikon D3000)?
I just got a new camera, the Nikon D3000, and I'm taking pictures of live bands this weekend. I did some this weekend, and I noticed a lot of them came out blurry because I didn't want to use flash. Is there any setting I can put it on to get the fasted shutter speed possible? Or does anybody have any advice?

What camera is best for me? Nikon d7000, Nikon d3100, Nikon d90?
I'm an intermediate photographer and am currently using a Nikon D40x. I'm looking to upgrade and want to make an investment on a camera that i will be able to use for a long time. I'm worried that if i buy the d3100 in a year i will want to upgrade. I have an old 18-55 lens that is pretty worn out and a 55-300 VR lens. I want to get a new, nicer lens. I can't decide which camera is best for me.

What is a close to same comparison to the nikon d3100 without video?

What type of lens filter are available for a Nikon?
I was wanting to get some filters for my Nikon D3100, 52mm with the lens that I have. What type of filters can I get? I want to be able to get warmer colors in my pictures and I don't know which kind to get.

Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED?
Is this lens compatible with a Nikon D80? I'm getting fed up with looking on t'internet. I think the answer's 'yes' but want to make sure.

I had bought it in december of 2010 and was just using it this morning to take pics of a kid so then I had to clean it and cleaned the lens with a micofiber cloth and was VERY VERY VERY gentle so its cleaned now.
Before and after with these pics of the kid, I used kid, auto and sports setting on the camera. The subject of the photo turned out fine but around the subject it looked rather pixelated and blurred out a little. I hadn't noticed it before with any of the other photos I have taking.
What could be going wrong? I'm shooting in JPEG fine by the way
It's a Nikon D3000 btw

Nikon d3000 battery won't charge?
I lost the charger that came with the camera so I bought another one. It's not the same charger.
I left the battery on the charger all night and it was still dead when I tried to use it.
I've been using the same battery since Christmas '09

Looking for a new event lens for Nikon D60?
Currently I'm working with a NIkon D60. I have the normal 55 mm lens with a 5.6 aperture, and a 200 mm with what seams to have a slightly wider aperture. Problem is I have become more interested in taking pictures of live events or concerts. Even though I'm a fan of blurring pictures I want to start capturing images without having to use a flash. I was trying to find a lens with a wider aperture that wasn't too expensive seeing that I'm a novice. The way I figure, wider aperture means higher shutter speeds. I loose depth of field but I could always get in closer. Any ideas? Many events are indoors.
