I've heard that there are programs available… Hopefully freeware… That if I d/l to my laptop, I can hook to my Nikon D60 and it'll take photos for HDR automatically. (As there's no auto setting for this in the D60, unfortunately.) Any help? Can't remember where I had come across the idea before.

Differences on the menu and screen options of Nikon D3100 and Canon T1i?

I'm between these 2 cameras and was wondering what the differences were between the two when it comes to the menu options. Some things I'm thinking about are in camera editing and choices on color and other settings.
This will be my first camera and I want all the options possible to give me the most options to learn with.

Aperture 3 won't import RAW photos?

I have been trying for several days to import RAW jpeg photos from my Nikon D90 into aperture. When I insert my memory card (Extreme III) aperture only shows the jpeg-fine (or lower) photos as being available for import. When I try to drag and drop the RAW files, aperture either says "0 photos imported successfully" or the import wheel keeps spinning. I've tried different memory cards, connecting the camera directly via USB and reinstalling aperture. Any advice would be appreciated.

Low mega pixel Digital SLR vs High Mega pixel point and shoot camera?

Hi, i'm planning to purchase a Nikon D5000 but due to budget reasons I decided to go on Nikon D3000.

Now the question is. The Nikon D3000 has only 10.2 Mega pixel and other Nikon point and shoot cameras has 14.4 Mega pixel or better. So which one would have the better quality then? Shall I go fot the Nikon D3000 or the Nikon point and shoot.
