Nikon D3000 Flash Umbrellas? - 1
Ok i asked this yesterday but I don't think i detailed it good enough.
I have a Nikon D3000 with a Nisson Flash.
I have all my backdrops & I know how to work my camera… My question is what kind of flash umbrellas should I purchase? I want 2 of course with the stands. Any advice?
Why won't my Nikon D3000 appear under devices on iPhoto?
When I plug my camera in iPhoto generally opens automatically and asks to import my pictures, however this time it isn't. I have restarted my computer, plugged my camera in fully, turned camera on and off, and fully charged my camera's battery. I've successfully imported pictures tons of times before and am very confused about why this is happening. I just got back from a trip and really want to upload my pictures.
I just bought the Nikon D90 to replace the D80 I currently own. I still have the Nikon 18-55mm II and the 55-200 VR lenses. I was also thinking of getting the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 as I want something that will work great in low llight situations. Is there a better lens I should add to collection? I love landscape photography. I would like to get into macro work as well. I read on Ken Rockwell's site that even the 18-55mm is a good macro lens.
WHy won't my Nikon D90 take pictures?
It won't focus and it shows an F and two backwards 3s. It looks like this: F EE and it flashes.
I've tried taking the lens off and putting it back on. It makes a solid click when it connects. I've also tried messing with all of the different settings. Nothing is working.
Problems charging my new Nikon D3000?
I just got my camera today and i've been charging the battery for 3 hours and the light still is blinking. It says that it only takes about 1 hour and 40 mins in the booklet it comes with.could the battery/charger already be broken? Or should i just wait and see if it charges in the morning. This is the first time i've charged this battery.

My dad just got me this camera for my birthday I guess he thought I needed an upgrade. I'm going to a photography school and he wanted to get me somthing real special. However I'm still in the learning process and I really don't know what to do with it. I got a UV lense and a wide angle lense it came with the DX 18-55 lense I believe I've had fun trying to learn it all day but i wanna go out and take some pics of my sister tomorrow for her senior pics. Any Ideas on how to use it quickly for some good shots!
Any such thing as a store charging camera battery for 1 day?
Visiting brother in NYC today. On plane remembered forgot to pack battery charger for Nikon D90. Does anyone know of store like Adorama or B&H Photo that would charge battery in an hour or two for a price instead of buying a new one?
Added (1). Buying new charger would just kill me for my stupidity.
