Vintage telescope for astrophotography?
So i have a telescope, its a Towa Astronomical Telescope with:
D= 60mm
F= 700m
model: no. 3111-B
it was made in Japan
i very recently got a DSLR (a Nikon D3100 to be exact) for my B-day. I don't have a T-Mount or a T-Adapter, YET, but my question is: is the telescope i have at all sufficient for astrophotography? Will it produce any decent pictures?
Black Light Pictures w/ a Nikon D3000?
I have a Nikon D3000 and I'm trying to figure out how to take pictures while I'm in a Blacklit room. I have two blacklights and I'm trying to take a picture of myself while I'm under the blacklights. I have a standard Nikon D3000, no apertures or addons. Just the standard model. I also have a tripod that I'm using. I do not have any additional lenses, just an 18-55 mm lens and a 1:3.5-5.6II (I don't know what that means).So if you guys could just help me out here and explain how to shoot a detailed shot while under the effects of a Black light.
Should i be able to get a 700 dollar camera?
I want a nikon d3100 for 700. My parents said that if i got good grades, i can get one, i have gotten all a's and 3 b's through the whole year. I'm willing to pay half/half.fair or not?
How to manual focus with Nikon D3000?
I have a Nikon D3000.Im totally new in cameras, i just use cameras like this for taking pictures of my aquariums for online forums and stuff… And sometimes, the auto focus just doesn't cut it. Especially when trying to focus onto little 1/2 cm long fry (new born fish). And i don't know where the thing is to adjust the focus… Please help

I want to be a photographer and I have saved up $1000 for a nice camera. I want one that I can use for photoshoots. A lower price would be great, but I don't know which cameras and good and what aren't. I've heard good things about the Nikon D3000…

I was hoping to buy a DSLR for summer when I go places. I'm at a beginners level, but I know enough to work the camera. I just don't know if the Nikon D3100 or The Canon Rebel T3 would be a better choice.
Nikon is 14.4 MP at 599 and Canon is 12.2 MP at 599.So they both are the same price but Nikon has a higher MP. Except Canon shoots videos. So which one do you think is a better investment?

I don't want it to change it to JPEG… I want them to be transfered RAW
