Do professional cameras come with a lens?
Excuse my ignorance, i'm planning on buying a digital slr camera - and obviously to know everything about a camera you should use it & i've never used/bought this type of camera.
i need to know if the price of the camera includes the lens in it.
If the lens inclusion depends on the camera, i'm thinking on these opportunities:
NikOn D3000
Canon Rebel T3 (1100d)
Nikon D3100
Sony A390
Olympus E-620

I just got my sb600 and i have a nikon d5000. Do i have to be out of manual mode in my camera to use the ttl. How do i check if its working

I'm really confused about choosing a camera?
I currently own a Sony a550 (not exactly own… It's my dad's but I use it a lot, it's like I'm the one who own it already), but my dad is going to sell it soon, because he said he wanted to upgrade. Anyway, I'm getting tired of borrowing and I think it's time for me to have my own dSLR. So now, I would love to hear your opinion about what camera should I get.
I'm really interested in getting Nikon d3100, but I'm not really sure. I'm still a beginner and my budget sucks, since I think I'm going to pay half the price of the camera (and the rest would be my dad since I'm still 14). I shoot mostly with M or P, so I'm not really a new comer. I'm going to the camera store this evening to try to see and feel the d3100 - I know I must first like it if I'm really getting the camera.
But anyway, what do you think about d3100? Is it better than a550? Or just the same? I've read some reviews and articles and I think both cameras are really alike.
Or maybe you know some other similar cameras? Would you mind sharing? Canon 550d wins the reviews and all but I don't know, I don't really like Canon. Just a little note that I prefer a light camera. Doesn't have to be very light, but at least not as heavy as a550. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to die carrying the camera everywhere, it's very heavy and big. :/

Can I use manual flashguns with Nikon D5000?
I have a Nikon D5000 and also got few old manual / auto flashguns from different manufacturers. Is it possible for me to use these flashguns with the DSLR. I do not mind loosing the automatic functions.

At what store can I go to, to buy a Nikon D90?
I already looked on Walmarts and Targets website but they don't have it. Any other stores?

Help on lenses for Nikon D90 please
I'm so confused. There are So many glass options out there and I wish I could afford to buy 2 or 3 lenses, but I can't. I don't want to spend more than $1000. I love landscapes, macros, and would like some telephoto (at least 200mm). I really would like one lens (as I'm really tired of changing from my 18-55 mm VR to 55-200 mm lenses). It also needs to be light (less than 13 oz). I did own the Nikon 18-200mm vr lens, but it's just too heavy to lug around. I would settle for the best and lightest all purpose lens and then maybe a good macro/micro (been looking at the Sigma 150mm). Any suggestions would help.

Do Sony's new SLT cameras have DSLR image quality?
I'm looking into buying my first DSLR, or rather looking to step into semi-pro photography. Having browsed the market offerings my main contenders are the Nikon D90 (the D7000 seems overpriced for its specs), the Nikon D5100 (as a more budget-savvy option to the D90), the Canon 550D (for its reasonable price and overall performance) and the new SLTs from Sony (the a33 and a55).
The SLTs pack a lot of punch, especially the a55 with its 10fps shooting speed, but do they actually produce DSLR quality images? Of course, my question is applicable only if we take out of the equation the quality of lens used, so please try to answer with this in mind. Video performance is not important for me.
So, are the SLTs worth it, or am I better off going for the classical reflex system?

Help fixing raw pictures taken with nikon d3100?
Okay, i have the nikon d3100 (i got for christmas). I was playing with the settings and ended up taking all of my easter photos in "raw" format. At first i could not even pull them up on my computer. I since have downloaded software to switch from raw to jpeg. But, the pictures look horrible. You can see each pixel in the picture.
