Black Light Pictures w/ a Nikon D3000?

I have a Nikon D3000 and I'm trying to figure out how to take pictures while I'm in a Blacklit room. I have two blacklights and I'm trying to take a picture of myself while I'm under the blacklights. I have a standard Nikon D3000, no apertures or addons. Just the standard model. I also have a tripod that I'm using. I do not have any additional lenses, just an 18-55 mm lens and a 1:3.5-5.6II (I don't know what that means). So if you guys could just help me out here and explain how to shoot a detailed shot while under the effects of a Black light.

You need to read your manual and at least understand the basic photography terminology.

"No appertures or addons" doesn't make any sense. Aperture is a ratio of the measure of the opening of the lens against the focal lenght… No aperture would mean that you don't have an opening in your lens… If there's no opening, how is light getting to your sensor?

Here is an article on shooting with black lights.
