Nikon D5000 hates ME

I just don't know what I'm doing wrong with the camera, I can't get clear n' crisp shots with this camera it seems not to work with me and I have tried and been practicing and reading many books on it. I don't even know how crisp is crisp enough for this camera! I don't think the camera likes me, I've been messing with RAW shutter speed and Aperture modes. '

What else can I do? And most just don't really tell you in the books the manual doesn't explain very well. Any times would be great oh and I usually shoot a tripod, what about lenses?

What laptop is best for me?

I make youtube videos with my friend, with a Nikon D3100, which is very high quality. Currently, i have a Dell Inspiron 1520 (i've had it for 4 years now, it is seriously dying) and my video files from my camera are not compatible with Windows Movie Maker, so i need a laptop that supports these Quicktime files. I also would like a high-ish quality web cam, similar to those on Mac computers.
A Mac computer is a dream, but unfortunately, i'm only 15 and my parents can't afford it, and neither can i. I also need a computer with alot of memory for all my video files, that will still run quickly and efficiently.
So i'm basically looking for:
-Not a Mac
-High quality webcam
-Supports Quicktime video files
-Good editing software (better than Windows Movie Maker anyway)
-Lot's of memory

If any of you know of any LAPTOPS that have these features, i'd really appreciate you to answer with them!

My Nikon D50 doesn't record ISO settings in the EXIF information for.jpgs.why?

When I take pictures using my Nikon D50, it WILL record ISO settings in the EXIF information if I'm shooting in RAW format… But it won't when I'm shooting.jpg format. It looks like they forgot to store that information.

Is there anything I can do?

Added (1). Can't figure out how to respond to Jim's response… But here's more clarification:

- As I said, the ISO info IS recorded when I shoot in RAW format… So, I know where to look, and I'm not reading it incorrectly. It's not there - at all.
- The reader I have is Photoshop Elements 9… Pretty standard stuff.
- I downloaded Opanda on your suggestion… It does not reveal the ISO setting either.

So, back to the point: Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

Nikon D3100 videos editing?

When I want to upload videos I've recorded on my Nikon D3100 to my laptop, they play very slowly and not smoothly and won't import into windows movie maker.

How do I convert them into wmv's so they will import onto Windows Movie maker, or are there any free video editing softwares that you would recommend?

Best online site to buy a DSLR?

This will be my first DSLR, I want to get the Nikon D3000 and I want to buy it online. But I need something that's reliable, a site that could help me in the future if something happens to my cam… Right now I'm looking at Samy's, CameraWorld, and CompUSA… Please help!

Added (1). I chose the D3000 because I've researched SLR and the D3000 keeps coming up when it comes to a really good beginners cam. And no, I've never hold any SLR cam before.
