Best online site to buy a DSLR?

This will be my first DSLR, I want to get the Nikon D3000 and I want to buy it online. But I need something that's reliable, a site that could help me in the future if something happens to my cam… Right now I'm looking at Samy's, CameraWorld, and CompUSA… Please help!

Added (1). I chose the D3000 because I've researched SLR and the D3000 keeps coming up when it comes to a really good beginners cam. And no, I've never hold any SLR cam before.

I would suggest your local camera shop (NOT an electronics store like bestbuy, walmart, etc.). They are great places for support.

Since this is your first DSLR, have you held and tried the D3000? I don't recommend one brand over the other, but I tell people to hold/handle the different brands/models to see which feels best in their hands. I chose Canon for its ergonomics/weight/menu system, and a fellow photog chose Nikon for the same reasons.

IF you must buy online, I prefer B&H Photo… Http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/635660-REG/Nikon_25462_D3000_SLR_Digital_Camera.html

Also, the best place to go if you have a camera issue is the manufacturer… They designed and built it, they know it best.

BHphoto is pretty much the gold standard. Adorama would be my next choice. I've purchased from both and can tell you they are large and reputable with fair prices…

Online: Beach Camera, B&H Photo, Adorama, Abe's of Maine and Amazon.com
All are reputable.

Like most said, B&H Photo is about the best. I have bought 95% of my camera gear from them with no problems. They are very reliable and if you have any questions, you can either email them, chat live or call them and they would always be happy to help. Right now they have the D3000 with the 18-55mm VR lens for $469 plus free shipping. Also besides Nikon's warranty, they also give you an option to purchase theirs as well that covers accidental problems.

But before you order, like one person mention, go to a store and hold them and look at them first. Get a feel and decide what one would be best for you.
