I just don't know what I'm doing wrong with the camera, I can't get clear n' crisp shots with this camera it seems not to work with me and I have tried and been practicing and reading many books on it. I don't even know how crisp is crisp enough for this camera! I don't think the camera likes me, I've been messing with RAW shutter speed and Aperture modes. '

What else can I do? And most just don't really tell you in the books the manual doesn't explain very well. Any times would be great oh and I usually shoot a tripod, what about lenses?

The best thing to do is take a class in photography. There are summer classes you can attend.

You MUST understand all the fundamentals of photography if you intend to be successful using a fully adjustable camera.

Start by using the cameras light meter to get proper exposures.

Make sure you learn how to use the auto-focus focus points while composing your shots.

If you are NOT using AF-S lenses, then you will need to use the electronic rangefinder to manually focus the lens

Turn the the dial to AUTO mode.
Learn how to use the focus points that you can see in the viewfinder.
Make sure your lens switch is not set to M. Select A always.
Don't use Liveview.
