How to get rid of a speck of dust on my camera?
I have a DSLR, Nikon D5000. I don't know if what is showing up on pictures is a speck of dust on the mirror, or a dirty sensor, or what. I can see the speck of dust in the eyepiece. It gets bigger on the picture if I zoom in and it kind of appears as a mole. It's on the same place in every photo. What do i do?
What are other good lenses for the nikon d3100 that give the background Blur (Bokeh)?
I know they are putting a new lens out on the market soon, but is there another good one? If the price is below 500 that would be wonderful.haha
I'm going to be buying a DSLR camera when i have the money, not one of the top of the range ones that are crazy expensive! Just a kind of entry level, i like the look of the Nikon D3100 & a few others (as well as the Canon eos 550D- way out of my budget!)
Anyway! Is it worth looking at a proffesionally refurbished dslr rather than getting the same model brand new, if they work the same? I'm not going to buy online, unless it is from somewhere trusted (like PC World or whatever)
And before anyone says anything, i KNOW to take good pictures you can't rely on the camera 100%, the photographer has to have talent as well.
How to alter the REMOTE ON DURATION in my Nikon D40?
I've read some things online about changing this option but on my nikon's D40 i can't access any other options after the 6th one. I have no other pages or options to scroll down to on custom settings. I'm quite confused about how to access this or to change the REMOTE ON DURATION differently.
it's said in places that its the CS17 setting, but like i said i can't go any further on my settings that the 6th one, the no memory card? Option.
i'm trying to access the remote on duration as can get quite annoying when the remote setting turns itself off when i'm using it.
Planning on buying a Nikon d90. I'm beginner and I thought d90 is perfect because its not just entry level but also the next level.d7000 is professional i guess but any suggestions? Also, the best deal for a d90 body and a good lens. Not a standard one though, looking for something like 18-105 or is a 55-200 better?

Can I use a Sigma 70-300mm F4-5.6 DL Macro Super Lens with a Nikon D5000 SLR camera?
Got a lady that just gave me a nikon n80, with two very nice sigma lenses. I want to sell the camera and smaller lens, but want to keep the larger, because it's also a macro lens. But unless it works with my D5000 SLR Nikon camera, I won't be keeping it. I've tried searching a couple sites online, but haven't found whether or not it works with my D5000. Does anyone know?
