I have the Nikon SB800 which is a very good flash. But that one has been discontinued. The two flashes that B&H Photo has that are around your price range would be the SB700 for $329. That is the newest flash that came out not too long ago. The other one if you don't need that much power would be the SB400 which is at $124.95.

You could look on ebay to see if you could find a sb800 but being used, you would probably be taking a chance of getting one that doesn't work like it should.

The SB-600 flash is another good one but that one too has been discontinued.
