Nikon SLR Cameras

What laptop is best for me?

I make youtube videos with my friend, with a Nikon D3100, which is very high quality. Currently, i have a Dell Inspiron 1520 (i've had it for 4 years now, it is seriously dying) and my video files from my camera are not compatible with Windows Movie Maker, so i need a laptop that supports these Quicktime files. I also would like a high-ish quality web cam, similar to those on Mac computers.
A Mac computer is a dream, but unfortunately, i'm only 15 and my parents can't afford it, and neither can i. I also need a computer with alot of memory for all my video files, that will still run quickly and efficiently.
So i'm basically looking for:
-Not a Mac
-High quality webcam
-Supports Quicktime video files
-Good editing software (better than Windows Movie Maker anyway)
-Lot's of memory

If any of you know of any LAPTOPS that have these features, i'd really appreciate you to answer with them!

I would stick with DELL and get an XPS, which is a sturdy spec laptop that would handle all you want like a dream. For software you may want to invest in Adobe After Effects (even if you have to get it by alternate means. )

Quicktime files work on all machines when you install Quicktime codecs (free)
Editing software there's tonnes of free stuff but Adobe and other premium products are usually always best.

I haven't heard of webcams better tha 2.0mp. Any current laptop with Quicktime supports Quicktime files or the proper video editing software. Memory is easy to upgrade. Adobe Cs5 or Powerdirector are both excellent software. I'm not sure what laptop to suggest since there's no budget posted, however 4-6gb ddr3 is good for anything 8gb is overkill. Videocard: not intergrated. For going to buy laptops go with reliable companies ASUS, MSI, Clevo, and most gaming laptops are good.

Looks like the Dell Inspiron 15R is your best bet. It's very balanced being decently fast (4GB RAM where fastest would be 8GB or higher and slowest would be 2 GB or lower), decently sized with 15.6" screen (Actually pretty big screen) and has plenty of memory with 500 GB for all your videos. Its about $600 which is also decently priced. Unfortunately I can't tell you much about video editing software, hope I helped though.
