Difference between 50mm and 35mm?

Well i have a Nikon d3100 and its a crop sensor, I have a 50mm f 1.8 so on my camera its really a 75mm and i wanted to get a 35mm because i feel that the 50mm doesn't really fit much, i have to stand way back to fit in other stuff in the frame. So the 35mm is a 52.5mm on my camera. Would it be worth paying $200 for the 35mm/52.5mm? It seems like it won't make the much of a difference, please correct me if i'm wrong…

Added (1). Well thinking about it, comparing it too a 75mm and 52.5mm since its a crop sensor, wouldnt it be a even bigger difference, a 22mm difference? Instead of a 50mm and a 35mm which would only be a 15mm difference?

Added (2). And also, i know i can use my kit lens since its 18-55 but since i got the 50mm f 1.8 i don't like using the kit lens because the 50mm quality looks so much better, thats why i want the 35mm f 1.8

FX Fish Eye Lens on DX Format Camera?

I'm looking at getting a Rokinon fish eye for my Nikon D3100. ( http://www.amazon.com/...002LTWDSK/ )
I know it will work but my question is, does it eliminate the fish eye effect, if so what's the effective angle of the dx fish eye on my D3100?
I don't want to lose too much out of the angle, but I can't find a DX fish eye for around $300.

Panasonic Lumix, Sony Cybershot OR Canon Powershot?

I'm looking to buy a new digital compact camera. I currently own a Nikon D3000 DSLR so I'm relatively familiar with photography and cameras and such.

I mainly want a digital compact one for taking pictures at parties/events, and I also want to use it for portraits, action shots and creative/landscape photography.

The main features I'm interested in is the lens quality, production of clear, crisp images, relatively good battery life and good features on the camera.

If any of my 3 mentioned fit these specifications and are all round good cameras, please let me know which is the best!

Nikon D3100 VR objective vs non VR objective?

The Nikon D3100 is on sale right now, and there's a version with and without the VR objective(on the picture). The thing is, there's no difference in the text below the camera.

So what is the VR objective?

And should I buy that? (Costs 20$ more)

And are all Nikon D3100 sold with the VR objective?

Pro' Photographers, Nikonians

I'm looking forward to buy a new lens for my Nikon DX format D7000. Now I've come across the new 50mm f/1.8 G which will be available here in a few weeks. Uhh, has anyone tried it yet? How do you think about it? Is it worth the price or do you think the old 50mm f/1.8 D lens is better?

I heard some people say that the 50mm f/1.8 D can focus quicker than the 50mm f/1.8 G. Is it true?
