Are Sigma speedlight flashes comparable to Nikons in terms of quality for price?
I was thinking of getting a Sigma EF610ST for my Nikon D70s. The Nikons are overpriced and the Sigmas seem of good quality too. I already have a Nikon SB600 but it's not that powerful. I'm going to be doing some outdoor portraits of 3 children and I would like another flash. I already have a reflector also. Any tips?

Which one is better, Nikon d3000, d3100, or d5000?
Looking to buy a camera. I've actually been looking ever since last year. (NOVEMBER 2010).
Nikon D3000 was perfect for me. As in, at reviews, prices, and all that - NOW, I have more knowledge about DSLR's and lenses.
My price limit is $900 maximum… Maybe stretch to $950.
If needed, $1000…

Nikon d3100 video not autofocusing?
The lens are definitely on AUTO, and my settings are for face tracking. But when I'm taking a video, it doesn't track it all. I have to hold down the shutter for it to focus.

Looking for new lens for Nikon D3100?
Does lens brand matter when it comes to buying a zoom/telephoto lens? I'm looking at getting either a 55-200mm or a 70-300mm, and I have found that tamron brand is slightly cheaper for the lens. Now i know the whole, cheaper price cheaper quality thing, but as a general public, does anyone have opinions/advice?

What video camera is right for me? What do you suggest?
I'm looking for a video camera and I have no idea where to start. I already have a Nikon D3000 so I'd prefer it to be strictly video. I'd like to get the highest quality possible but stick with the price range of 50-150$ max 200$. I'm going to use it just for home videos of trips and stuff like that. I'm really looking for quality though, it doesn't have to be super small, I'm willing to sacrifice a small size for better quality.
Any suggestions on where to start? Or any camera's to look at?

I'm buying my first D-SLR camera and I'm a bit tossed. I have played around with SLR cameras before so I'm pretty good at using them. I'm just unsure of which camera would be best for me and would be the best value for what I'm looking for. I want something that takes good close-ups. I would also like it to shoot movies although that is not top priority. I would like to keep the price down to around $850 and either a Nikon or a Canon. I've narrowed down my choices to either: Nikon D5100, Nikon D3100, Canon Rebel T2i, and Canon Rebel T3. Any helpful advice would be much appreciated!

I have had my Nikon D3100 for about 1 year now and have become familiar with taking photo's how i want them etc can anyone suggest my next camera.

Nikon D40 - Dynamic area focus mode, one focus area only?
I've owned my Nikon D40 for about 2 years now and love it. I noticed that when I'm in dynamic area focus mode, only the left focus area blinks when focusing. I tried focusing on an object specifically with the middle and right areas and the lens just couldn't figure it out while the left area continuously blinked. Is this how dynamic works on the D40?
