I recently lost the charger to my Nikon D3100 camera. The original charger was, as I'm aware, an MH-24 charger. These cost around £30-40 when looking to replate. However, the battery itself is an EN-EL14 lithium-ion battery and chargers simply under that search (so EN-EL14 charger) come to about £12-20. Basically, I'm curious as to why there's this price difference. Is the MH-24 charger specifically for my camera model and it's battery and more updated or will an EN-EL14 charger do the trick?

I found a camera that is selling for 550, which comes with aLi-ion battery, USB cable, quick charger with power cord, user's manual, strap and nikkor lens AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6g VR and a camera bag. Do you think its worth buying?
I'm not a professional at taking pictures, I just want a nice camera and I do enjoy taking lots of pictures.
What do you guys think? Is it worth that money?
please and thank you

Will a Nikon 50 mm F/1.8 Lens work on a Nikon D50?
It's a Nikon series E lens. I purchased one online and I'm very afraid that it might not work on my Nikon D50 body? Will there be an adapter that I have to buy as well?

Which lens is better to go for learning photography?
I have a Nikon D3000 DSLR and a 18-55mm kit lens. I have learnt the basics and I'm feeling I need to enhance my expirience with photography but I'm stuck in between two lenses. ( since they cost almost the same)
1.AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED
2.AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G
Please advise me which one to go. Also please advise me how to use the apeture setting to ideal photo. My thumb of rule is "max apeture is better picture" but i don't get the required pic was having in my mind. Please help how use the apeture numbers effectively

What camera is good for pictures and videos and isn't super expensive?
I'm looking for a camera from Nikon or Cannon that is good for taking pictures, and shooting videos. I've thought about the Nikon d3100, but I'm still not sure. I've heard that the quality of the pictures/videos depends on the lens. What camera and lens would be good for shooting videos and doesn't cost a whole lot?
