Is a Nikon D60 worth buying?

I found a camera that is selling for 550, which comes with aLi-ion battery, USB cable, quick charger with power cord, user's manual, strap and nikkor lens AF-S DX 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6g VR and a camera bag. Do you think its worth buying?
I'm not a professional at taking pictures, I just want a nice camera and I do enjoy taking lots of pictures.

What do you guys think? Is it worth that money?

It all depends on you - would you like to learn the intricacies of this camera? If not, a point and shoot would be the best.

So basically a kit with a camera bag. $550 canadian, that's almost the same in US dollars. I'd see about importing a D3000 or D3100 from the USA. The D60 is an old model.
