How long will conversion take on Aunsoft Video Converter?
I want to convert five separate videos - 16, 16, 22, 36, and 46 SECONDS long - from the Nikon D3100 MOV format to Windows Movie Maker WMV HD. I clicked convert and it gave me a screen showing 0% progress for a minute and a half. Should I just let it go? How long will it take to convert these videos?

I have a Nikon D3100 and I'm looking for a good macro lens. I've been reading some information on websites and reviews but can't decide on which lens to get. I was thinking about getting a Sigma 70-300mm but it has some bad reviews. I rather have a Nikon macro lens but will also like to know other lens available. I'm looking for lens that are $300 or less. Not looking for a expensive one. I usually take nature macro but would also love a lens that will let me take some landscape photos. Don't really care if it is wide angle or not. Also, I would like to have auto-focus but it's not a big concern. Please list what lens you think will be good and why.
My choices so far:
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6
Nikon 40mm f/2.8
Nikon 50mm f/1.8
Nikon 55-200 f/4-5.6
Nikon 35mm f/1.8
Added (1). I know that most of the lens listed are not true macro lens. I'm looking for something close to being macro.
Added (2). Ok so I decided I'm either getting a Nikon 50mm or 40mm. Which one is better?

Problems without flash, Nikon D80?
Lately when I've been shooting with my Nikon D80, even if I'm in a decently lit room if I'm not using flash the shutter speed is brutal. I'm in my bedroom right now, and it's morning so it's not dark in here by any means, and as I tried to take a picture of my cat beside me on my bed, even though my ISO is set to 1000 (my lens is 18-55mm), it still took about a second to take some of the pictures, and blur happened in almost all of them. I realize cats move a lot but even when he didn't the image just isn't been taken fast enough in general, and it's not as crisp as my photos used to be.
I never used to have this problem I don't think, my images used to be a lot sharper and crisper, and I usually had my ISO set from 100-400.
Thoughts? Is something wrong with the camera or what?

Look for a compact that is as least as smooth pictures as my old d80?
I just bought a nikon p300 and maybe was expecting too much but pics seemed very crunchy at all iso and settings with jpeg atifacts noticeable compared to my old d80 so sent it back. I'm expecting too much? Not looking for something better than the d80 just natural looking picks

A Digital camera that takes pictures like the Nikon D7000 for around 200
A Digital camera that takes pictures like the Nikon D7000 for around 200?!

Is this camera worth the extra $200?
I'm trying to decide between the Nikon D3100 or the Nikon D5100. The 3100 is $700 and the 5100 is $900. Obviously the D5100 (which is the newest camera) has better technology and such but is it $200 worth of better technology? This will be my second dSLR camera and I'm totally happy with my first camera ( a Nikon D3000) but the reason of the second purchase is so I'm able to shoot video. So is the D5100 worth the $200 extra?
Added (1). I'm not selling my first I'm getting a second.

Camera Recommendation for Office Use?
We need to purchase a camera for my office. However, we don't have too much experience in photography. The camera will generally be used for taking pictures at events. We want good quality pictures.
I read some reviews and they recommended the Canon EOS Rebel T2i and the Nikon D60. Our budget is approximately $600-800. Any recommendations/Advice?

Is the lense 55-200mm for Nikon a good lense?
I have the Nikon D7000, and i like taking pictures of anything and the main lense i use in general is the 18-55mm but i don't like it because it dosent have a lot of zoom (was a bday present) so i was wondering if buying the 55-200 would be a better idea?
Added (1). And is it better than the 18-55? And should i sell my 18-55?

How to shoot Nikon D40 in RAW?
