Is this camera worth the extra $200?
I'm trying to decide between the Nikon D3100 or the Nikon D5100. The 3100 is $700 and the 5100 is $900. Obviously the D5100 (which is the newest camera) has better technology and such but is it $200 worth of better technology? This will be my second dSLR camera and I'm totally happy with my first camera ( a Nikon D3000) but the reason of the second purchase is so I'm able to shoot video. So is the D5100 worth the $200 extra?
Added (1). I'm not selling my first I'm getting a second.
Yes and here is how the two sensors perform.

As you can see, the D5100 provides the most bang for the buck
In my opinion, neither camera is worth selling your D3000.
If you want to upgrade from your D3100, the next logical step is the D7000.
