Camera lens for portrait shooting?

I want to buy a camera lens that is of a reasonable price (around $200).
I have a Nikon D5000, and I want a lens that has a strong and positive review for portrait photos.
Either that, or a high quality macro lens (same price range.)

Currently, I have the AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6G lens (came with the camera.)

Any ideas?

Advice on Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 II?

I shoot with a NIkon D3100. I currently have the 15-55 and 55-200. They seem to be great lenses. I'm trying to upgrade (on a budget) and I'm confused on what lens to get. For around $800 I can get the Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 II. I will be shooting mostly sports. The main thing I'm afraid of is that I will get the lens and not be able to tell $600 difference in the quality of photos than the lenses I have. I know I will be able to better in low light.

Macro lens for Nikon D60?

Here is the lens I'm looking at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/...00005LEN4/

I'm looking for a macro lens for my Nikon D60, I have found this one but I'm unsure if it does really close up macro shots of water droplets for example?
I have been researching it for a while but no reviews on the Amazon website mention it.
Any other macro lenses you recommend, for a low price as possible. Thanks

Added (1). Thanks, ok I'll keep looking. I know about the auto focus I don't mind having to manual focus as I have to anyway with my zoom lens. Thank you.

Added (2). CiaoChao That is what I'm asking, sorry. I want a macro 1:1 lens.

Added (3). And I know about manual focus I use it anyway

Calling all nikon experts! I've been having problems with my camera and i need your

Okay so basically my camera, nikon d40, has been running on en-el9 battery for three years and recently i got it changed to the en-el9a which was recommended by the shopkeeper. At first the battery was fine but then i charged the battery and when i proceded to use it it kept saying 'this battery is not compatible for your camera'. I've bought a new battery twice and it works alright at first but after charging it once or twice, the message 'this battery is not compatible for this camera' shows up and no one seems to be able to find a solution to this problem. Is it the charger? Is it the camera? I don't know, just thought maybe some of you may have encountered the same problem and may be of assistance.
