How to SET the file number sequence on my Nikon D5000?
I recently (and painstakingly) reorganized all the pictures I've taken with my D5000, which adds up to 684. The problem is my cameras current file sequence is on 117.Is there a way for me to manually set it to 685 so there won't be any repeats in file names? Inb4 'take pictures of junk until you reach 685'; That's bad for the shutter life. =
Steadicam Merlin or Glidecam HD-4000?
I'm curious to know people's opinion on these two products. I have seen a few demonstrations on these products via youtube videos and they both look like they work great.
I just need a couple of feedbacks, opinions, or reasons why one is better than the other.

P.S. --- Oh, and just to give you guys a little background, I own a Nikon D7000 at the moment and plan to upgrade to a Canon 5D MK II in about 6 months.
Added (1). And another thing, I was wondering if it is possible to mess with the aperture or zoom while filming on these two.

What lens to get for Sony NEX-C3?
I'm considering a NEX-C3 as a second camera (to my d5100 with twin kit lens) and I was wondering whether I should get the 16mm pancake or the 18-55mm? I will be using it when I go some places where carrying a dSLR would be quite uncomfortable/unnecessary. Please note that I already have the nikon 18-55mm.
So I have a Nikon D3000, and I've read a review where the D3000 is not a very good camera. If I buy a new lens, will it affect the camera's ability to take pictures? Why is it that they review the camera with its kit lens only, and base its performance with it?

Added (1). By not responding, I mean the camera won't turn on.
Added (2). When lens is on camera, it goes dark, but as soon as I remove the lens everything is back to normal.
