Problem with my Nikon D3100 focusing?
When I try to take a picture using the digital focus, it will not take the picture! It takes the picture but not zoomed in it only uses the optical… That's not the case with my L120. The way it looks in the live view is the way it captures the picture.am i doing something wrong. I'm new to dslr.

I'm pretty new to photography. I'm starting beginner classes in 3 weeks. You could say I'm like in the middle of beginner and intermediate. I know about aperture, exposure, ISO, mega pixels, focus, lenses, all that basic stuff. So I've definitely got enough knowledge to know what I'm doing.
I'm thinking about getting the D5100 as my first SLR, but the price is just a bit steep for me. Should I back down and just go for the D3000, or is the D5100 worth it?

I've had a nikon D3000 for some time and I want more freedom to take pictures, to be able to control more settings manually, and I also want good quiality video. I had the D90 in mind, but I'm also thinking of buying some lenses. I'll be shotting portraits and street photography mostly, and I'd like to get a very shallow DOF. With that in mind I looked for the pentax K7, qhich according to what I've read uses M42 lenses. Those are cheaper, and that means I can buy more, and I have more options. I know cheaper it's not always good but I found some GREAT Tamron and Mamiya lenses each for under 100 bucks! Besides the video is good. Which one should I go for? Is there another camera that could do the job? Should I stick to the Nikon?
How to render footage out of Premier Pro without it being grainy?
I'm shooting on a Nikon D3100 DSLR. When I render my footage out at 1080p, it comes out really grainy. I want the footage to be as smooth as possible. Is it the camera settings I'm using or am I doing something wrong?
Best fisheye lens for a Nikon D3100 (DSLR Camera)?
I want to get a fisheye to film with on my DSLR. I've been looking into a Rokinon 8mm and an Opteka 6.5mm. I'm not trying to sound cheap, but i'm not in a good financial position to pay alot of money for a Sigma. So if there's any other fisheye lens I can put on my DSLR, that are 250 or less, Id appreciate it if you told me about it.

Nikon Extended warranty? Or not
I bought my Nikon D3100 at Best buy, and they offer me their warranty. But I also have found a Nikon warranty sold by other Photo store for much more less. But Do these warranties actually work. Even if you did not but the camera at their store? Help? I don't have much time left!
