Nikon Extended warranty? Or not
I bought my Nikon D3100 at Best buy, and they offer me their warranty. But I also have found a Nikon warranty sold by other Photo store for much more less. But Do these warranties actually work. Even if you did not but the camera at their store? Help? I don't have much time left!

Nikon cameras are NOT known to need warranty work. Nikon does NOT sell extended warranties. That is a Best Buy deal
The Nikkor lenses have a 5 year warranty, so don't pay for anything extra for the lenses you buy
If you want a "I can return this at any time, even if it is on fire" insurance policy sold by Best Buy, go for it
Warranties are like insurance, they are good to have for incidents, but not good if you don't have incidents. Warranties are expensive no matter what store you are buying them at. The Nikon D3100 comes with a free 1 year warranty. Unless you are really clumsy or new with cameras, you really don't need an extended warranty.
Warranties are sold by insurance companies and their goal is to take your money and give you nothing in return. The sales people make high profit margins on extended warranties
