I'm looking for softwares that convert video from a Nikon D90 to cinematic mode?
Any suggestions for a free software? I tried windows movie maker, but doesn't produce that cinematic look.

Christmas list help! What lens should i ask for my Nikon?
I've been looking at new lenses for my Nikon D3000, I already have a 20-50mm lens, and a 70-200mm lens. I'm just an amateur, but i'd like another lens. Any suggestions?

What kind of 50mm prime lens will work on my Nikon D5000 and also on a D90?
I have a Nikon 5000 and at a later time plan to upgrade to a full-frame camera like D90. If I buy one of those G lenses without the aperture ring will they work on D90? Also, will a lens with an external aperture ring work on D5000?

What's better for my first short movie?
Is it better to buy a canon Hv20 or a Nikon D5100?
Added (1). Or a canon HG20

Hi, I recently bought a Nikon D7000 to make youtube videos with and I love the video quality. However, the audio isn't very good. I bought a Sennheiser mke400 shotgun microphone to go on top of my camera and it definitely picks up sound, but the audio keeps clipping all the time (the + is too loud and the - is too quiet) and gets distorted because I do voice impressions. I don't know what the best mic to get is. Are there any camera experts out there that can assist me? I would greatly appreciate it!

Nikon D3100 video won't upload?
It's calling itself. MOV but won't upload to YouTube which is saying it doesn't recognise the format. Any ideas?

Memory card for my Nikon D7000?
Ok I know this is probably a really stupid question. And I should know the answer. But, I don't. I have a Nikon D7000, and had several memory cards to go with it. All of them but one were small cheapy ones that I had extra just incase of an emergency, but do to some unfortunate events All of my memory cards have disappeared. Horrible HORRIBLE horrible! I'm a photographer (thank goodness I have back ups off all of my pictures) and I have a shoot coming up on Friday so I need to replace my card As soon as possible! Here is my question (like I said I should know but I don't) What kind of memory card works best I know that lower end ones do not allow me to shoot with the CH option. So I need something that is high performance I guess. The one I had and used all the time cost me about 80 dollars. And I for the life of me can't remember which memory card it was otherwise I would just go buy the same thing. So what do I need to buy. Will be purchasing from Best Buy if that helps any. Thanks for any and all feed back I get.
Added (1). Thinking about going with this one http://www.bestbuy.com/...&cp=7&lp=7 It's smaller then my other one but I'm short on cash and just need it for Christmas portraits and such for right now. Will, this one work properly with my camera?
Added (2). As far as machine gunning it goes. Lol I do that sometimes. Sometimes for artistic reasons. But mostly just to not miss the kiss at a wedding or any other event that happens real quick. (i don't like to re-innact things like that unless I have to, you lose the realness of the situation when you do that.) So I guess I do use my CH option often.

How to turn off the self timer on a Nikon d3100?
My mom was messing with my new camera and somehow turned on the self timer, can anyone give me directions on how to turn it off? It would be greatly appreciated(:
Added (1). I realize this would seem rather dumb if I had a manuel, which i don't.hence the question. Just wanted to clarify that.

How else can I get more money for a new camera?
I can't get a job until a month from now because I'm only 15, and I really want this camera. My mom is happy about be wanting the camera (Nikon D5100), and is offering to pay some part of the money, and my dad, but I still have about 500 dollars to get (At Best Buy with the warranty and everything is 1, 110 dollars), I'm cleaning my sisters house next week for 50 bucks, but I still need money. What can I do?

What lens should I use to take nice portraits and get a creamy/bokeh backdrop?
My next lens purchase will be a 50mm or an 85mm f/1.8, and I think it'll give me this, but if there are other affordable lens out there too… It can go on my list of things to get.
I have a Nikon d5100 and I'm on a budget. I'm still teaching myself and learning from a photographer who is also teaching herself… So I don't know all what's out there… And my fundings are low. I save up babysitting and CD money (I make personalized CD's for a photographer), so I need something affordable.
