Can I have some advice with MIL cameras?
I'm a novice who is looking to step up in the world of photography and cameras. I was looking at DSLRs and was looking into getting a Nikon D3100, then I discovered the mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras. I went into my local camera shop for some advice and they recommended I look into the Panasonic Lumix G series. I then asked a friend and they recommended Sony NEX-3 or 5. What would you recommend? Panasonic? Sony? Other? Or would you go for the Nikon D3100? I have a max budget of about £500, and want a camera which will take great images but also will help me learn the ropes. Any advice would be welcome. Sorry for going on a bit.

How to get my Angenieux 90mm f/1.8 mounted on my Nikon D7000 to focus to Infinity?
I have an Angenieux 90mm f/1.8 that I have mounted to my Nikon D7000 with an adapter but it will not focus to infinity. If I move the lens further from the sensor with another adapter will that help the lens to focus to infinity? I would love to use this lens for some video projects.
Looking For Second hand digital SLR camera?

Added (1). I didn't ask what the difference between an attachment and a lens are - I'm well aware of that. I'm not an idiot. I was asking what the best kind of lens for my camera would be. And I'm also well aware of how much they'll run me. I've done my research. My camera wasn't cheap, and I certainly wouldn't have spent that money if I had no intentions or money to expand my lens collection. My Nikon D3100 won't autofocus except on guide mode?
It used to focus on all setting (except for manual). The lens is switched to auto and I can't figure out why it won't autofocus.
