Is the Nikon d5000 compatible with the Nikon Flash Sb-900?

I'm photographing a party tomorrow and the person rented a Nikon flash sb-900 for me and i won't get it until i arrive at the party. I'm sort of freaking out because I'm not fully sure if it will work with my Nikon D5000 or if there's something I need to make it work.

Nikon D3100 settings problems?

Dear Friends,

Today I bought a Nikon D3100. I'm facing some problems, may be because I'm new with the DSLR.
Please advise.

1.In Manual Mode, to change Aperture to Shutter speed I used the (+/-) button, but it is not changing each other. I'm able to change only the shutter speed. When I click the (+/-) button, it is not changing to Aperture. Do need to configure this? If "Yes", How can I do that?

2. My aperture is coming maximum of f/5 it is not coming down to F/2 or F/1. How can I do this?

3. Photos taken looks very good in the camera screen, but when I take it to PC, it does not look that good. It required editing. How can I fix this?

Help from someone with a Nikon d5100?

I recently brought a Nikon d5100 and I've really been trying hard to read the manual an read online on how to use it, etc. No matter what I do my pictures never come out very good. The pictures I'm taking are nothing better than the pictures I've been taking on my old Sony cybershot. I've payed 900$ for this Nikon and I really want it to start showing its worth.

Nikon D5100: How do I get the fisheye effect?

I'd like to TAKE the picture with the fisheye effect. But I don't know how to do that.
I also can't get the fisheye effect to go on the pictures that I have. For some reason, it won't let me do it. It makes no sense!

My Nikon D90's trash button is stuck, what can I do?

Last summer, my cousin accidentally kicked sand (I know, eep) at me and it got all over my camera. I cleaned it as best as I could, and everything was working well, except the trash button. But over time it went away. Well it's back now, and when I press the button once, it goes in and stays in, which then causes none of the buttons to work on the back of the camera. I have to turn it off, and pry the button out for any of those buttons actions to show up.
What can I do?

After months of choosing and deciding, I got the Nikon D5100 in early November. As great as it is, I kind of wish I had gotten the Canon Rebel T2i. The Nikon was a birthday gift from my dad, and don't take me wrong, I'm very grateful that he got it for me, but I'm just not really liking the button layout on it. Should I sell my Nikon D5100 (along with a few lenses I got for it with my own money) and get the Canon T2i, or would that be wrong?
