PHOTOGRAPHERS: Nikkor f/1.4 or f/1.8 lens? Which one?
Hi! I want to get a portrait lens with beautiful bokeh. I've seen these ones, but f/1.4 (fixed focal lenght) is twice more expensive. Why the big difference? Talking about QUALITY, is there a difference using a closer apperture? Better definition or contrast?
I mean: if I take the same photograph with f/5.6, will I see a quality difference using a f/1.4 lens and a f/1.8 lens?
And, another question: If I take the same photograph, USING A 18-105 mm LENS (the one I have that comes with D90) will I see a quality difference? Does it worth to buy a f/1.4 or f/1.8? (not regarding zoom)
Thanks! (sorry for my mistakes in english. It's not my native language)

Why is the Nikon D7000 video so grainy?
Recently went for a video trial with my Nikon D7000. However the video came out very grainy. The iso was at 100, i was using a nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, and A/2.8 and S/2000.was on a bright day as well, and it seemed that the video comes out very grainy. Is there a way i can fix this?

Nikon D7000 camera vs nikon d60?
I have right now a nikon d60 and i want to upgrade to a nikon d7000
but i don't know if its the right choice?
Will i see a difference in image quality and will my photos look better even though the nikon d60 has a slightly larger sensor? APS-C 23.6x15.8mm vs APS-C 23.6x15.6mm?
or should i get a nikon 700?

Which camera would be better to purchase?
I'm currently looking into DSLR cameras and I have came across 3 cameras that I see suits me. I'm a first time photographer and don't have much skill and need something that would work to my ability. Should I get the Nikon D3000? Canon Rebel XS? Or Pentax K-R?

PRO PHOTOGRAPHERS: What Does PRIME LENS mean?
I want to get a better lens for my Nikon D90.It came with 18-105 mm lens. I've read about a 50 mm f/1.4 g ED nikkor lens. Description says "Prime lens". What does it mean? Better quality? If I buy it, can I get better quality instead 18-105?
What the difference between all those lenses (besides the price)?

Looking to buy a digital camera. Willing to spend $400-$700. I want a camera that's got nice quality. Not too heavy. Not too big either. Really confused when it comes to all the little tech specs, but if you can explain it or refer me to a website, that'd be nice I was looking at the Nikon D90, but that's a few hundred over my budget. So then i settled with the D5100. But. I'd like to hear thoughts on that DSLR. A friend had a Canon digital ixus 860is & said it was a good camera that wasn't so expensive. Anything? Anyone? Thanks!
Added (1). I don't know anything about photography. But. Is it wrong to want a nice GOOD QUALITY camera? Pocket cameras are fine too, but i'd like to have a "high end" camera as well so i wouldn't need to take my daughter to the studio to take pictures & i can just do it at home myself FOR FREE. I just want an affordable DSLR camera (if you can refer me to a good one that's in my price range) & i'd also like to know which 'pocket' cameras have nice quality also. Just in case i decide to buy a small cheaper one rather than an expensive one.

I have a nikon 50mm 1.8 lens what would be the next great portrait lens i should buy?
I don't know maybe something with a little bit more reach then the 50mm. A lens with sharp pics and decent quality.
Added (1). Sorry i didn't say it is a nikon d3100:)
