How to fix flash on a nikon D3000?
I recently droped my Nikon D3000.it fell off a chair i thought it had hit the lens but the flash hit the ground. It was unable to pop up automatically. I played around with it and now it does pop up.but, the flash no longer works.

So iv'e been a photographer for around 5 years (film only) and i have been saving up my money and i'm going to just upgrade a bit and try some new things out i'm going to to get the brand new IMac and also am pretty exited and going to try out digital! So my view on it it right now i'm looking to spend 400-650 On a camera. I can't really decide still if i want to get a EOS Rebel T2i EF-S 18-55IS II Kit, EOS Rebel T3 18-55mm IS II Kit, The Nikon D3100?
Where and for how much can I sell my camera?
I have a Nikon D3000 it's a only about a year old, I got it for Christmas last year (December 2010) the camera is in perfect condition as well as the lens and battery I also have a case I would sell with it. The only things I don't have are the USB cabels, or the charger or lens caps. I'm not really a fan eBay and craigslist but I'll use craigslist if I have to. So where can I sell it? How much can I sell it for?
Can my nikon d50 lens fit a nikon d7000 body?
I'm planning to upgrade my amateur camera and really go into photograhy… I don't have the money to get the body and lens and was hoping to just by the d7000 body.
Added (1). Wow that's a very good point steve. I was thinking the d50 lack the cross-type focus points that the d7000 can provide. I like nite photography and was hoping the iso 6400 (expanded to 25, 000) can help with that… You're right, so far my pictures are really good with d50 once I photoshop it.
Lets say i take 100 pictures on my nikon d5100 the camera will save the pictures as dsc_0001 through dsc_0100 but when i delete the pictures and take pictures again the pictures are saved with the same name this happens all the time is this how its suppose to be or is there way to fix it
Added (1). Thanks everyone for your answers but Jeroen was right, turned out by default the camera number sequence was off so i went into the menus and turned it on
Trying to change the ISO auto to manual?
I'm using nikon d80.im trying to work on manual mode. I can change the shutter speed and the aperture value but my ISO settings is still on auto.although i've changed the values in the menu, the view finder still says ISO auto. What do i do?

What is the max and min aperture value for nikon D80? Most of the times my cameras min aperture value goes to 5.6 but sometimes it can go down to 3.5.isn't the min suppose to be 1.8?

The only cameras i have owned are point and shoots and Nikon D70. I bought the D70 for extremely cheap off ebay and it didn't last very long. I'm pretty much a beginner. I want an entry or mid-level camera thats not too old but not too expensive. Any suggestions?
What setting to put my nikon d3000 on to take sports photos in a gym?
I have a Nikon D3000 with the 55-200mm lens. I love taking pictures of my kids playing soccer, and 75% of the pictures come out great. But now my daughter is playing basketball and the pictures don't come out as great. There's a blur, lighting is not like outside at all.
I'm a BEGINNER so please don't give me a bunch of suggestions I don't understand, or other items I SHOULD purchase. Please help me work with what I already have. Any suggestions would be great.
