Where and for how much can I sell my camera?

I have a Nikon D3000 it's a only about a year old, I got it for Christmas last year (December 2010) the camera is in perfect condition as well as the lens and battery I also have a case I would sell with it. The only things I don't have are the USB cabels, or the charger or lens caps. I'm not really a fan eBay and craigslist but I'll use craigslist if I have to. So where can I sell it? How much can I sell it for?

It would be difficult to give an accurate amount without actually seeing it, but most used cameras in "perfect" condition also have the battery charger (it's kind of important), the lens caps (good for protecting the lens elements), and the USB cable/manuals/ original software/etcetera included.

Also, you need to remember that camera model is almost 3 years old (it doesn't matter how long you had it).

The best thing to do is check on ebay to see how much other D3000's have sold for, or take it into a local camera shop and see what they offer you.

Find out how many actuations it has (how many pictures have been taken with it). Since you don't have the charger, if you post it on c-list or ebay, people (no joke) might thinks its a stolen good - The whole kit (camera body, 18-55, genuine Nikon battery & charger) all in good condition, is worth about $300-325. There are tons of knock-off chargers available on amazon & ebay for less than 20 bucks.

Craigslist would probably be the fastest and easiest way to sell it. As for price, it depends on your location and demand for the item. Usually I'll search what I'm trying to sell on CL before I post something to get an idea of what others are pricing it at. $300 seems low to me, but after I searched, $300 - $350 seems to be the average asking price.

I wouldn't touch a used DSLR without a charger.

If you ask 1/10th of it's value it will sell.
