Nikon d3000 water damage?

I left my Nikon d3000 outside overnight (don't remind me how stupid i'm, I'm already beating myself up about it) and this morning it was soaked. There was some condensation inside the lcd, and everything was coated with water.looking through the viewfinder, everything is foggy. I wiped off the lens and removed the battery and memory card, along with all the obvious water. I blow-dried it on low and cool settings until the LCD condensation went away. I've read about putting it in rice overnight, but would it be better to just bring it to a professional As soon as possible? Tell me honestly: does it have a chance? If it could be repaired, how much would it cost?

As it is sunday, and easter sunday at that, you can't ship it off and many stores are probably closed

Rice does work, I resurrected plenty of iPods from puddles and rain. As long as you don't try to turn it on, no energy will flow through the camera, and it will not short out, which is the main cause of damage.

anyway, look at my rambling. Yes, send it in if you want it to be fixed. It will probably cost a couple hundred dollars to fix everything and get rid of all water

Use rice only as a last resort, especially with a DSLR. DSLRs have some mechanical components and rice may dry out the lubricating oils, which will only make the matter worse.
