So, I've set my timer. And I've also set the number of captures I want.
For example, let's say I inserted 5 seconds and 3 image captures.
The timing works perfectly but my camera only take 1 picture, not three, or any other number.
I've tried reading the manual, but I can't find anything helpful.
would any of you know why this keeps happening? Maybe something is wrong in my settings…
any help is appreciated, thank you very much!

Where can I get a good but cheap dslr?
I'm looking for a dslr preferably nikon something good like the d80 or d3100 or d5000 or d90 something good from nikon it could be canon but I like nikon I would really appreciate it if you could help instead of saying you can't get a camera that cheap it doesn't have to be one of those Just something good for cheap and don't recommend ebay or craigslist I already look on those everyday thanks for reading

I learned how to set the self-timer. I set it, but then you're supposed to press the fn button and once you press the capture button it's supposed to set the timer off?
it doesn't work… I've tried it different ways, pressing it while i was capturing, pressing it while rotating the lens… Nothing works. And i did turn on the shutter release thing in the menu. I don't know if that does anything…
any suggestions why it's not working? I'm probably doing this all wrong!
help is greatly appreciated, thank you so much!
(and please don't tell me to go look in a manual… )

Nikon D3100 Fisheye Converter (18-55mm)?
Given the fact that I do not have the money to spend on a fisheye lens, I've decided to buy a wide-angle fisheye converter. I've been searching but can't really seem to find anything. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to search or which converter to buy?

I'm a beginner photographer and I just got a Nikon D3100 with a standard 18-55mm lens a few months ago. I've been wanting to get a fisheye lens but I'm not in a position to spend more than $200. I've been looking for a lens that's reasonably priced but can't seem to find one. They're all $300+. Can anyone help me out?

What setting should I use on the Nikon D5100 for shooting Holi Festival?
A friend wants me to take pictures with her NIkon D5100 of a Holi festival - she's now participating. I'm still learning on my point n shoot but she wants me to use her camera. What should I set the camera for? It's really bright outside right now and it's taking place in a grassy area by the river
Added (1). I'm experienced in photography just not w/ professional equipment or fully manual operation. The photos turned out great.

Getting my new studio strobe to work with my Nikon D3000?
I'm an armature photographer and i was hoping to get some experience with studio lighting so i purchased a set from amazon.com that was fairly cheap so i could play around with it until i got comfortable enough buy a full studio set.
This is a link to the set i purchased: http://www.amazon.com/...001O0V8HE/
I've had some trouble getting it to work with my camera so I was wondering what i'm doing wrong. Are the receiver and transmitter not compatible with a D3000 or could i be missing something?

Needing lens for travelling with Nikon d90?
I'm moving to London (from Australia) for 1-2 years to do a lot of travelling. I've got a Nikon d90 and would like to buy and take just 1 lens with me that will be great for traveller photos. I'll need something with a good zoom range and i want a decent quality as i want to come back with amazing photos.
Currently i have the 2 standard lens' that come with the kit which haven't been the best.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated: D
Added (1). @delhiguy i didn't say that the kit lens' are bad, i'm just saying that i'd like to buy 1 good one to save on space. It would be great to keep the comments positive and helpful - thanks.
