Where can I get a good but cheap dslr?

I'm looking for a dslr preferably nikon something good like the d80 or d3100 or d5000 or d90 something good from nikon it could be canon but I like nikon I would really appreciate it if you could help instead of saying you can't get a camera that cheap it doesn't have to be one of those Just something good for cheap and don't recommend ebay or craigslist I already look on those everyday thanks for reading

Adorama or B and H have good prices on new and used equipment. Those models seem really random and they aren't very similar…

Pawn shops, surprisingly. There's one not far from me that is just loaded with cameras.used ones… Everything from cheap point and shoot cameras to DSLR's.still expensive, but less than half what they cost new.

Adorama and B&H guarantee all their used products. I'd start by looking there or at a local camera shop, and completely avoid eBay and Craigslist if you don't know a whole lot about evaluating the condition of used photography equipment.
